I love the sense of strong upward motion the swirling silver bands hugging the shakers' main body exude as well as the cleverly crafted little screw on "plug" that secures your seasonings are safely kept in their containers. Fabulous pair of vintage Los Castillo weighted copper angel candleholders in a classic Salvador Teran design from the 1950s, I believe. These can be found in brass and silver plate with or without inlaid wings but I love the fantastic patina that the copper has developed over the years in this pair. Though a set, one of the pieces is slightly bigger than the other - they are after all handwrought works and bound to exhibit small dissimilarities...
