This is a beautifully crafted souvenir spoon from San Francisco, pre-dating the Golden Gate Bridge. In the bowl of the spoon is the Golden Gate, with the Marin Headlands on the right and Fort Point on the left. There is sailing vessel in the water and a setting sun beyond the Golden Gate.

This spoon was made by Watson & Newell Company circa 1886-1895.

This sterling spoon also shows Mission Delores, 1849, mining tools on the face. On the reverse it shows State Capitol building, grapes, and fruits. It is a great spoon. This spoon is 5 5/16ths long. The bowl is 1 1/8" wide.

This tureen holds 4 quarts of liquid. It was made by the Meridan Britannia Company in 1886-1887.

All of the plating is still original. There is however, a few spots where, as shown in my picture, there is some loss of silver. A magnificent addition to any silver collection. The collar is 7/8" in diameter and is wonderfully chased.

This tureen measures 9 1/2" tall x 13 1/2" long (including handles) x 9" wide.

The original quadruple silver plate has achieved a warm, soft patina with virtually no wear. There are no dents.

The inside of this silverplate tureen is in excellent condition as you can see by my picture.

The silver plate is much brighter than shown in the photo, which is due to the lights.

The high relief design is outstanding and crisp.

This tea kettle / tea pot was made by the Southington Silver Company Ca 1900. It is quadruplated by Gerssmt.

The stand and kettle have the #2104 marked on the bottom.

The swing handle has the initial FWC engraved.

My picture #4 shows the only place where where I see any wear.

The pin for the hinge on the wick cover needs to be replaced.

It is in spectacular shape for its age.
