Tadashige Nishida was born in 1942 on Amami Oshima Island in Japan, where he studied art at Chiba University. He moved to Spain in the 1960s and later to the United States to study as a post-graduate. Tetsuya Noda, born 1940 in Kyushu. The art is a framed silkscreen mixed media work, part of the "Diary" series dated August 26th, 1985. The image and title is of his home town in Kayuwara. The edition is 11 of 15. The image size is 36 x 23 inches and 47.5 x 35.625 inches with frame. Excellent condition. Noda is part of the Sōsaku-hanga art movement and is considered a major 20th century Japanese artist.
