A Blue and White Christening Mug, with Gilt by Whittingham, Ford & Co. Burlsem, 1868-1873. Irving Pattern; dimensions 3.5" high x 3.75" wide. Some age wear.

A George III Regency Period Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddy. Sarcophagus Form with Brass Rings on the Side and Top; the Top Ring with a Brass Fruit Basket design. It Stands on Four Brass Bun Feet, with dimensions of 11.5" wide x 5.25" deep x 6.5" high. There are Two Lidded Inserts Over the Inside Tea Compartments and a Mixing Bowl that is not believed to be original. Circa 1815, with Some Minor Inlay Missing (see pictures), otherwise in excellent condition.

A Green and White Nailsea Victorian Baluster shaped Glass Vase with a Ruffled Top. There is a White Swirl Overall Design on the Green Background, which is Characteristic of Nailsea. Late 19th century. Dimensions 9.25" high x 4.5" wide. Excellent condition.

A beautiful pair of scissor shaped sugar nips or tongs, with shell bowls. Silver, probably Irish, Rococo style, late 18th century. Unmarked, like many early sugar nips. Width "6¼/ 16 cm, weight 67 grams. Condition: the joint is somewhat unsteady and apparently these sugar nips have never been restored.

English lozenge-shaped porcelain serving dish from a dessert service, embellished with a wide, elaborate gilded scroll border surrounding a central hand painted bouquet of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Possibly Spode or Coalport. Condition: some minor wear to the gilding on the rim; no cracks or lines. Size: 10 3/4" x 7 3/8". Other pieces available from this service.

Lozenge shaped porcelain serving dish from an English dessert service, decorated with an ornate gilded scroll border and with a central hand-painted reserve of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Size: 11" x 7.5" Condition is excellent; no chips or lines; hardly any wear to the gilding or flower painting. Possibly Spode or Coalport. This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion...

This pair of crystal compotes was made in England by Stevens & Williams around 1900. They measure 6 inches tall and the openings have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. They are hand blown from clear crystal that varies from thicker areas to very thin. This type of crystal is often referred to as “rock crystal.” It imitated the mineral stone used by the Chinese. The bowls are expertly hand engraved and polished with ribbons and wreaths...

Earthenware relief-moulded dish by Söholm on the isle of Bornholm, Denmark. Late 19th century, typical of this factory’s early production. Moulded decoration of laurel leaves and an old couple in classical style, the design inspired by Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen. Diameter "10/ 26 cm. Condition: slight wear to parts of the figures in the centre.

Two Georgian bucket bowl port or small wine glasses with panel-cut cups and stems, English, c 1800. One a little heavier than the other and with the pontil mark deep into the glass and partly visible, whereas to the other glass the pontil mark is polished flat. Height "4/ 10 cm. Condition: fine.

A Staffordshire figurine of a goatherd girl on a goat circa 1930 1850. This antique English figure dates to the early to mid quarter of the 19thC. She is hand painted painted fully on front, sides and back. 1830s -1860. It is a fine looking and well painted example reflecting the 19th century Victorian romanticism about farm and rural life with the advancing age of industrialism...

A 19th century Staffordshire flat back china cottage 1850-60s. It is the flat back type, and measures 4 1/4" high and 3 7/16" across. The colouration is simple - yellow ochre and rust-brown. It is overall in excellent condition for its age except for a small chip on the chimney and wear to the painted decoration. The bocage around the roof eaves is in excellent shape (very minor loss, not noticeable) and no cracks, crazing, staining or repairs...

These 4 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. They have the impressed shield of Nymphenburg in the base of each piece. The tallest of the figures is 7 1/4 inches high to the shortest one which measures 6 1/2 inches high. They are made of fine white hard paste porcelain with a high gloss glaze. The cherubs are executed in blanc de chine and are very similar to figures produced by Meissen...

Samuel was the son of Thomas Taylor and started his apprenticeship with John Newton in 1737. His first marks was entered in 1744...
