This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator. We believe that it was made by Donath Dresden because it is marked in red and the coloring and style are similar to others we have had. There is an artist’s signature in the lower right corner of the portrait which may be Wagner. The cup is marked Madame Montesson, wife of King Louis the XV. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches...

A Royal Worcester two -handled vase measuring 6 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. The vase is fully marked with Mark 1 with the date letter W for 1885 and with shape number 1109. There is also an impressed mark with shape 1109 The vase is decorated with three different floral sprays and is in excellent condition.

This is a magnificent coin silver fish serving set, ca. 1865, unmarked, in the Aesthestic taste with boldly cast and applied medallions and highly decorative bright-cut engraving. While unmarked, this set bears a striking resemblance to a medallion pattern made by John Polhamus and retailed by Tiffany during the same period. The knife blade features a charming engraved koi fish surrounded by sea flora and waves. Monogrammed on the reverse "F L D O’M". Condition: excellent...

A Large Sterling Silver Gorham "King George " (1894) Roast Carving Set. The Fork is 11", the Knife is 14.5" and the Sharpener is 13.75". The pin on the holding mechanism on the fork is slightly loose, but overall in very good condition.

Heavy brass letter opener with a fully repoussed handle. There is a face on both sides at the end of the handle. It is made to look like a barbed dagger or sword. It measures approximately 9 inches long and at its widest, it measures 1.25 inches. The overall weight is 152.5g. It most likely dates to the late Victorian era; it is unmarked and in very good condition.

A large silk satin fan, with sixteen gilt decorated wood "sticks", hand-painted depicting four birds amongst flowering prunus or cherry branches. This item is made with Chinese silk but was probably made in France and was retailed in Liverpool - unusually complete with its original box which carries a dispatch date of 9th November 1898. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Studio in the 1880s. The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 1/4 inches tall without the handle. The cup features an empire style handle that sweeps up over the rim. The ground color is magenta red. There is a large reserve on the front of the cup containing a hand painted scene. An elegant 18th century couple are strolling in a garden landscape...

Marvelous assembly with a great deal of movement. Possibly Russian, circa 1800 (there are no visible seals or markings) and is in its original box.

A Pair of Bronze Figural Candelabras with Four Arms and five Lights. Height 16" x 14" wide. Each one weighs about 7 pounds. Features dancing couples on each of the main arms and a piper on the center arm. Late 19th century and probably French. Very Good condition.

This attractive antique full length 18K watch chain has alternating carved ornamental solid gold by-pyramid link (what we call a "fancy" link) which connects to a pair of linked rings, which connects to simple solid gold by-pyramid link. The C1880 chain measures 59 inches long. It can be worn in various lengths, doubled or tripled, with a locket or pendant, or just as is, shown in the images below. A screwed in bolt clip allows you to add a pendant, if desired...

A classic 19th century French 2nd standard (900/1000 pure silver) tastevin, inset at the base with a 1702 coin bearing the likeness of King Louis XIV surrounded by the legend translated as "Louis XIV by grace of god King of France and Navarre." The bowl of the tastevin is finished with the typical arrangement of "perles" and elongated "godrons" designed to create reflections in the wine to better judge its color and clarity...

This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow.
