Two bowls and a lidded box in blue opaline glass. The bowls undecorated, the box with some gilt. All three French and from the 2nd empire / Napoléon III period, c 1850’s. The blue colour is the same as the “bleu céleste” so much en vogue in Sèvres porcelain of the time. Height of larger bowl: 3 ¼”/8 cm, diameter 4 ¾”/12 cm, diameter of box "2 ¾ / 7 cm. The box with polished base. Condition: wear to the gilt (cf. pics).

A superb Victorian Art Nouveau baby rattle, the handle carved from a large piece of mother-of-pearl and adorned on either side with a gorgeous Art Nouveau lady's head worked in sterling silver and finished with three silver bells. Although unsigned, the particulars of the design are very similar to a known Unger design. Marked "Sterling".

Origin: America, ca. 1895. Condition: excellent except for the bells which show considerable wear from a toothing child. Size: 4-1/2" long.

Antique Moser hand enameled cobalt Bohemian glass trinket box with gold gilt. Lid is hinged and this box is in near perfect condition measuring 3.5 inches high by 4" diameter. Displays beautifully wherever you put it. Dates circa 1880

Dramatic Victorian agate bead necklace is fastened with an agate clasp. The striking banded agate beads are black, brown and white and can be worn day or night. The necklace measures 17" long, circa 1870.

A fine lead antique wine glass, being a true Jacobite multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) glass engraved by Engraver B in Seddon's book. The air twist is very tight and elegantly fashioned. An intertwined double handled large sauceboat decorated with flowers on both the inside and the outside. Gilding on the base, handles and on the rim with dentil decoration on the outside edge. 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm) tall, 9 inches (23 cm) long and 7 ¼ inches (18 cm) across the handles. Circa 1780.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Gilding wear around the rim and especially on the handles.

Pair English Spode Stoneware Imari pattern covered Tureens, 5 1/2" high include top knob, 10" diameter, Imari design are on the top of the cover and as well as inside the tureen. Impressed mark "Spodes New-Stone", with red mark "3248" on the bottom and under the cover. The condition is very good, no damages.

An absolutely delightful bronze calling card tray, the center designed with a small frog atop a traditional baroque-style wave. The top edge of the dish has a wonderful scene of four frogs riding big-wheel bicycles along a road. They have quite good balance, as all have their arms crossed. The lead frog is even smoking a pipe. Road markers reading “2Km” and “3Km” mark their progress...

Six pearl handled luncheon knives with sterling silver ferules. The ferules are decorated with a classic scrolling vine motif. The French-style blades are unusually long in relation to the pearl handles--a proportion that gives this set a particularly elegant appeal. The blades are marked with a "12" designating the highest quality of 19th century American silverplate. Pearl handled knives are more frequently found in the larger dinner size.

A George III Silver Serving or Entrée or Vegetable Dish with Cover; assayed in London in 1811 and bearing the makers mark "WB" (either William Bell, Bennett, or Bateman). Fully marked. Dimensions; 11" x 8" x 5" to handle; weight 44.8 Troy ounces. Twist off handle. Some minor knocks on bottom, but in very good overall condition.

German silver tea scoop. Imported to England in 1892 by Thomas Glaser. Leaf-form bowl with veins and wispy, irregular tips. Woody stem with coiled tendril mounts. German maker's marks and English sterling-standard import marks including London assay stamp. Very good condition.
