A Staffordshire redware teapot, c 1770, with sprigged Chinoiserie decoration of a pavillion and arcades. Impressed apocryphal seal mark of Thomas Barker, Fenton. No lid. Height "4½/ 11,2 cm, width "7¾/ 19 cm. Condition: fine.

Blue and white sparrow beak milk or cream jug and lid transfer printed in two rows with a Chinoiserie pattern. Unmarked, English, c 1790. Height including lid "6 ¼ / 16 cm. Condition: the jug with two hairlines, the lid with star crack and rim frits (cf. pics).

A Creamware Basket and Stand Of oval form, the rim pierced with diamonds and hearts. Scrolling pierced shell shaped handles. Probably Shorthouse L18thC. Length of stand 10 1/2″ (26.6 cm). Condition; very good, small glaze bruise to rim of basket. Some firing speckling to underside of stand.

An English Pearlware Pickle dish. In the form of a deep leaf with a green glazed rim. C1790. Length; 6 3/8" 16.2 cm) Condition; excellent

A large tyg with hand painted apples and leaves with green dental banding and green dashes on the three handles. The tyg, or loving cup, is a popular form for Wemyss. Marked with impressed “WEMYSS WARE” in an arch over “R.H.&S.” 7 ½ inches tall, 87/8 inch diameter at base. Handles are about 2 ¼ inches out from the body.

Condition. No chips. There are two hairline cracks extending from the rim part of the way down the body. One handle broken off and restuck...

A Wood & Sons (Ellgreave division)Ironstone Teapot with the Signing of the Declaration of Independence on one side and the Liberty Bell on the other. Dimensions; 6" high and 9" handle to spout. Early 20th century.

Fine Childs Plate, the centre printed with the name John, the finely moulded border decorated with bright Pratt type colours. The base impressed ROGERS. C1840. Diameter 5 1/4" (13.4 cm). Condition: excellent, there is some staining to the underside.

Stoneware jar in the form of an orange with the registry mark for F & R Pratt of Fenton for 1878 on the base. 4 inches (10.2 cm) tall and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.

Condition: no chips cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor staining and some tiny areas of paint loss.

Circa 1870, brown transferware platter, Staffordshire Nanking pattern, by E. Challinor. In very good condition, there is some crazing commensurate with age and some staining, most notably on the back. Measures about 18 inches long, 14" high, and 1.5" deep. Hanger included.

A Mid-Victorian English Green Majolica Vase, with an Oriental Serpent Design; circa 1875. Dimensions 12" high x 5.5" wide. Excellent condition.

A 19th Century Staffordshire Earthenware Jug depicting Admiral Nelson. There is a similar example in the collection of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 28.6cm (11.25inches) high.

A 'mirror' pair of antique 19th Century pottery greyhounds (each holding a hare) made in Staffordshire circa 1860 - 1870. Condition: excellent. 19cm (7.5 inches) high; 20cm (8 inches) long.

A Victorian Pottery Syrup, Milk or Cream Jug or Pitcher with a Pewter Lid; circa 1880. Marked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield on Inside of the Pewter Lid. The Design consists of three Bands of Flowers; under the lid, the body and the base. Dimensions 7.25" high x 4.25" wide. Very good condition.

An exceptionally attractive transferware bowl in the Milanese Pavilion pattern having fruit and floral images around the rim while two elegantly attired ladies converse on the pavilion. The back stamp bears the J H & Co mark of Joshua Heath & Co and dates to c. 1840 While the bowl is visually magnificent, it has a 2 3/4" hairline crack for which we have drastically reduced the price and for which we would consider reasonable offers. Dimension: 10 1/4"

A wheel thrown transfer printed and hand painted double-handled "Loving" Chamber Pot made as a novelty wedding gift "Marrige Present", circa 1840, in either Sunderland or Staffordshire. Condition : there is a re-glued old break to one handle; and there is a curved crack to the rim on the underside which is less shorter on the upper side and does not reach the rim (please view enlargements 6 & 7); no further damages and no restoration. 21.5cm (8.5 inches) diameter; 13cm (5.2 inches) high...

A Pair of Doulton Lambeth Candlesticks. The base is incised with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark. They are Clay colored with Applied Decoration in Cream and Light Blue. The height is 6.25" and they date from c. 1895. They are in excellent condition.
