An attractive and very rare large tankard, Germany, Cologne area, dating to the 16th. century.

The tall brown saltglazed stoneware tankard, decorated with three historical emperors and great generals, namely Karl the Great, Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great with floral and figural spacers in between. Pewter lid.

Size: 29 cm. tall.

Condition: F-VF, affordable since it's partly restored and with some repainting to cover the connection of the shards...

A superb 'Bartmanns Krug', Germany, Rhineland, probably Cologne, 16th.-early 17th. century AD.

Exceptional quality 'tigerskin' glazing, nice details and typical of the later renaissance German wine or beer jugs.

Green flambé glazed miniature stoneware vase or perfume bottle, Art Nouveau design with engraved silver overlay, c 1900. Unmarked, probably German. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: the end of one sprig replaced with silver colour, as shown on photo.

German Westerwald Cylindrical Tankard with a Pewter Lid. Decorated with a central band of applied flower heads on a blue ground. C1700. Ht. excluding lid, 5 3/4" (14.7cm). Condition of the tankard is excellent; no chips, cracks or restoration.Pewter lid with some corrosion and a small hole.

A fayence pap boat or invalid feeder, tin glazed. With ribbed sides and rustic decoration of flowers in blue, yellow and green. Southern Germany, probably Schrezheim. Length "8 / 20 and height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: some wear to the spout (cf. pics).

Antique 18th century 1775 ,German Hanau blue and white Armorial Jug (Enghalskrug) with a plaited handle, a horizontally ribbed neck with a baluster body with an elaborate Coat-of-Arms incorporating three armorial oval shields surmounted by a winged head of an angle wearing a Bishop's Mitre flanked with the Initials: “FF” “EA”, where the Coat-of-Arms is surrounded by tied palmettes with the date 1775 beneath...

A Westerwald Tankard, Humpen. Decorated with a band of applied florets between raised diamond shapes. Westerwald, Germany E18thC. Height; 7″ (17.7 cm). Condition; excellent, only small chips to the scroll terminal.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Studio in the 1880s. Both pieces are signed with the hand painted lamb marking. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 7/8 inches. The cup features a split branch handle and rococo pedestal base. The ground color is sky blue. The exterior of the cup has a hand painted panoramic scene. Children are playing in the woods...

A very rare caneware basketweave tureen with a lid featuring 3 little biddies hatching from their eggs by William Schiller and Sons. In very good antique condition, this item was actually used in its earlier days. Worth noting is that some of the original pale blue color still remains on the eggshells. Designed and potted by W. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The porcelain is fine, white, hard paste. There is a hand painted scene on the front of the cup with colorful exotic birds. The saucer has little insects scattered about. There is lacy gold trim around the rims of each piece. CONDITION: Excellent, first quality

Six little fruit plates and a dish. German Majolica, c 1900, unmarked, with palmettos in light blue surrounding a relief-moulded twig of leaves and apples. The colours are lighter on the dish and three of the plates than on the rest. Diam: "6¼/ 16 cm and "9 1/2/ 24 cm. Condition: wear to the outer rim on two of the plates.

Set of nine(9) German "Waechtersbach" marked earthenware creamy color reticulated border plates with large floral design in the center, ca. 1900-1907, 7/8" high, 8 7/8" diameter. Marked "Waechtersbach Germany" "Dec:2204" in blue, plus impressed marks on the bottom. There are few glaze crazing on the surface, no damages or restorations.
