Offered is this exceptionally beautiful, hand-enameled in ruby flashing, glass pokal or covered jar. The jar is 11 inches (28 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (10,5 cm) wide and is in excellent condition. It has a 32-point star-cut base. There are a number of raised glass cabochons surrounding the body of the pokal. A very rare German mixed color twist of soda glass. Bell bowl with a solid base over a stem containing a white opaque twist multi-ply corkscrew surrounding a ruby thread, the whole with an entwined single air thread. 6 1/8 inches tall, 2 3/8 inch bowl diameter, 2 3/4 inch foot diameter.

Mixed twist glasses are as rare as color twist glasses, and the combination of both is an extremely uncommon and desirable construction.

A sentimental Bohemian souvenir or memento flashed red glass mug, with a nicely curved handle. Etched with flowers and the saying "Remember Me." In superb condition, standing 4 1/8 inches tall, with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches.

This glass is a companion piece to g1218, identical except for the floral arrangement on top of the cartouche surrounding the saying.

Interesting slim design iron key, came with the Roman and early medieval keys, but probably c. 17th. century.

Very fine early Staffordshire child's cup decorated with a pair of colorful roosters. The design was hand-colored over a rudimentary sepia-colored transfer. The pearlware glaze has a wonderful lustre. The bottom edge of the cup is decorated with a molded border.

Origin: England, ca. 1830. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, light glaze crazing in interior bottom. Size: 2-7/8" tall; 3-1/8" diameter excluding handle.

This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion...

This fanciful Art Nouveau style brass desk box was originally made to hold stamps but would be a great place to store a special ring, cufflinks or a secret. Rectangular shaped, standing on four feet, the hinged cover has a centered sunflower surrounded by leaves and vines, two compartments inside, unmarked. Measures 3 in. x 1 5/8 in. x 1 1/4 in. high. Condition is near perfect.

A lovely transitional etched Art Nouveau~Art Deco case with Czechoslovakian export marks along with FB 900 for silver content. The back has an engine turned design. The inside is smudged, the gilt is worn with stains that do not come out and there is a small raised pinpoint puncture that it is not evident from the outside.There are no bands to hold the cigarettes. It is also inscribed " Olga 2-VIII.XV" ...Weight: 4.5ozs~ 3-1/4" x 3". Sorry no returns- sold as is.

A German goblet from the Potsdam area, of potash glass. The overly large funnel bowl, profusely engraved with flowers and leaves, sits atop a merise which in turn sits atop a huge teared and notched baluster knop. The merise is of triangular form which might be due to cutting to symmetrize a chip.

Excellent overall condition. 7 1/8" tall, 4 3/8" diameter bowl, 5" diameter foot.

Charming Victorian turquoise drop earrings set in silver, with daisy form tops and bow bottoms, circa 1880. The earrings are attached to gold shepherds hooks and are 1.4 inches long. Turquoise were considered sentimental love jewelry and the Victorians, ever the romantics, associated turquoise with happiness in life.

Five French majolica plates from H. Boulenger & Cie in Choisy-le-Roi, 1880’s. Aesthetic Japanesque compositions and molded design in contrasting colors, ochre and turquoise with crackle glaze effects. The motifs are nightly poetic: a boy gazing at the moon (twice, in reverse coloring), a night wanderer with a lantern, the Man in the Moon fishing and an earthly fisherman just catching a fish.
