Dating from the early 1700s before Meissen starting using their cross swords logo is this very rare Meissen porcelain cameo vase. The applied bisque cameo features the goddess Venus looking into a mirror. In very good antique condition, the only evidence of age is wear to the gold gilt. We have not attempted to clean the vase. Measures 9 inches high, about 4.5" diameter at widest.

A porcelain ovoid form teapot with a floral knop and hand painted with floral sprays on either side and floral sprigs on above and below the handle, picked out with magenta, and on the spout as well as above and below. The crossed hayforks with a line through them was the factory mark for the late 198th century. Height 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), length across spout and handle 7 ¼ inches (18.4 cm) and width 4 ½ inches (11.4 cm)...

A fine porcelain cup and deep saucer decorated with hand painted birds sitting on braches near the ground. The cup and saucer are also decorated with randomly placed puce sprigs. Unmarked, but numerous examples of similar birds with puce sprigs are on marked Ansbach pieces. Saucer 5 ¼ inches (13.4 cm) diameter. Cup 4 inches (10 cm) diameter including the handle, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) without it. Cup 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

Condition: No chips or repairs...

English Georgian sterling silver condiment shaker, late 18th century. Baluster on raised foot. Cover pierced with engraved diaper and twisted finial. Worn marks include crowned T (body) and crowned V and letters RP (cover). Good condition.

Description: Wonderful British sterling silver dish, fully hallmarked and it seems to be from early 1800 era, gorgeous floral design and in good condition. Dimensions: 10 inches in length with width of 6 3/8 inches and height of 1 1/8 inch.

A nicely decorated lobed dinner plate with an off center bouquet of bright flowers in the well of the plate, two sprays of flowers on the lip and a reddish-purple rim. A little green bud near the rim covers a firing flaw. Diameter 9 7/8 inches (25 cm). Underglaze blue mark of crowned interlaced Cs.

Condition; very good and little wear. A short hairline crack from the rim goes about an inch into the plate.

Bright colors and interesting that no gilding was used.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1750. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The edges have little points and scallops. The cup has a split twisted branch handle. Both pieces are hand painted with realistic fruit in vibrant colors. There is gold filigree trim on the rims. Condition: Excellent...

Antique 18th century Spanish cast bronze naval signal - saluting cannon Mortar (Thunder Mug) of a typical design with a handle.

A tapered two-stage barrel, with a reinforcing ring swelling towards the muzzle, with a pronounced, molded, flared muzzle. It rests on a prominent turned round (breech) base with a pan raised and a touch-hole (vent).

This type of mortar cannon, "Thunder Mug," was used on ships in the 17th and 18th centuries to salute and signal the port of their arrival...

A fine pair of antique late 18th century pair of Spanish flintlock pistols signed on the barrels “PERESTEVA.”

Each with a two-stage steel barrel, ended with stepped muzzle ring. Faceted, breach, heavily inlaid in silver along the top flat ‘PERESTEVA’ with in a rectangular cartouche with silver inlaid borders adorned with scrolls...

Original eighteenth century Chelsea Seal in the form of a grotesque figure of a black masked man with 3 cornered ("tri-corn") hat. The tri-cornered hat was a popular hat worn in the 18th century by both aristocracy and commoners, as it was designed to better reveal one's highly fashionable wig. Our male figure is in black breeches, standing on a white base with the motto "Tou jour gay" ("always happy")...

Hinged and flush cover with stained-wood finial. Chased scrollwork, diaper, and scallop shells. Marked. Short and straight foot. Very good condition. our early C1790 Georgian 18K seven stone diamond half hoop ring has seven table-cut diamonds (flat on top, faceted sides). The ring is closed back and the diamonds are foiled backed, exactly the way gemstone rings were made in the Georgian period. The diamonds are mounted in silver and set in gold, as the Georgians believed silver was better suited to set off the cool white tones of diamonds. This ring would make a lovely engagement ring or gift to oneself. The ring is a size 7.

A Fine Georgian English Silver Claret Jug or Wine Ewer, with a Grape Vine and Leaf Pattern on the Body and a Twig Handle. The Hallmark is London, 1788. The Maker Mark is not clear, but it is probably George Gray. It weighs 20.9 Troy ounces and the dimensions are 12" high and 6.5" spout to handle and 4" at the base. In very good condition.

A George III Helmet Form Creamer or Cream Jug by Hester Bateman, London, 1789. On a Square Pedestal Base with Delicate Bright Cut Engraving and a Punch Beaded Border and a looped handle. Dimensions; 5.25" high x 4" handle to spout; weight 3 ounces. Very fine condition.

A George III Sterling Silver Bowl, Possibly a Sugar Bowl or a Waste Bowl. Could be used as a Bonbon Dish. By Robert Cruickshank, London, 1797. Dimensions; 2.75" high x 4.5" in diameter; weight, 7 ounces. Excellent condition.

A bulbous little pitcher or jug and a small mug, both north Bohemian c 1800 or somewhat earlier. The white Milchglas or Milk glass enameled in the style of Meissen or Sèvres porcelain - often in the “Famille rose” colors seen on this pitcher - was an appreciated export from Bohemia (present Czech Republic). Marquis shaped memorialized ring of plaited hair set in 18K yellow gold with the initials LC in gold. The underside of the ring is engraved B.L.C. ob Nov 10 1789 aet 37;. The ring is a size 5 1/2 and due to its small size it was likely worn by the wife of the deceased as a memento while he traveled. The ring measures 1 1/4 at its widest. A wonderful piece honoring love.
