An elegant and very unusual wine glass with a double shoulder collar and a single basal collar. This form is accepted as being Scottish, rather than English, making it rarer. The funnel bowl has leaves and acorns engraved around the rim, the stem with a pair of spiral threads around a lace twists.

5 1/4 inches tall, bowl and foot diameter of 2 1/4 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. No damage, polishing, or restoration.

European perfume bottle hand-made of translucent green glass with exquisite silver overlay in a bamboo leaf pattern. Mark on the bottom. Circa 1900.

Absolutely beautiful silver plate tray with center crest and decoration, handles on each end and fabulous serpentine, reticulated edges. This tray is marked by the maker, but I couldn't find the mark. It is old and in excellent condition. It measures 29 1/2" long x 22" deep.

A striking antique English porcelain coffee cup. Made at the Worcester factory during the Dr. Wall, or First Period, it is painted with the Pu Tai pattern in beautiful, bright enamels. It shows Pu-Tai, also known as the Laughing Buddha, seated, with two attendants. The cup has a slightly everted rim, a handle of the grooved loop type, and the interior border is gilded in addition to the iron red enamel.

The cup is 2 3/8" tall, with a top diameter of 2 1/8"...

A classic 19th century French silver tastevin of traditional form and the bottom inset with a silver coin from the reign of Louis XV. The sides of the tastevin are decorated with the traditional raised "perles" and recessed "cupules" for viewing the depth of color in a wine. The coin, dating to 1726, depicts the profile of the king surrounded by the legend "Louis XV, by grace of God, king of France and Navarre." The figures and crown are made of silver with parts gilded in gold. The Virgin Mary is standing on top of a column, which is supported by an alabaster marble base.Circa 1900.

A lovely cut glass perfume bottle cut from cranberry to clear. The design is a simple, classic combination of crosshatched diamonds and fans. The shoulders of the bottle are panel cut, and the base is finished with a 24-point star. The lapidary-cut stopper is original to the bottle and is engraved with the same number as the inside of the bottle's neck. Origin: Europe, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 5-3/4" tall.

This is an elegantly proportioned wine glass with a flared bell bowl and a color twist stem. The stem has two translucent red and two opaque white spiral threads surrounding a loose vertical cable. The foot is of conical form with a rough snapped pontil.

An extremely fine and tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB) type wine glass. The generous, slightly flaring, pointed round funnel bowl is beautifully Dutch engraved with the armorial coat of arms of Princess Anne, daughter of George II, and wife of Prince William IV, the "Prince of Orange." The stem features a dumbbell knop over an inverted baluster knop, atop a high domed foot.

A very rare German mixed color twist of soda glass. Bell bowl with a solid base over a stem containing a white opaque twist multi-ply corkscrew surrounding a ruby thread, the whole with an entwined single air thread. 6 1/8 inches tall, 2 3/8 inch bowl diameter, 2 3/4 inch foot diameter.

Mixed twist glasses are as rare as color twist glasses, and the combination of both is an extremely uncommon and desirable construction.

This is a fabulous Victorian sterling ladies’ card case for that special collector, marked "sterling and "W&H" for the well-known New York silversmiths Wood & Hughes. The shaped case, with an attachment for a chain, has beautiful foliate engraving surrounding a central cartouche with the name "Hettie" and "1876" in the center; a Victorian heart is engraved on the reverse. Condition: very good with minor nicks; hinged lid snaps closed evenly. Measurement: 3.50 in long. x 2.50 in. wide

A Staffordshire Sugar and Creamer in the Chinoiserie fashion. There is a design inside the sugar bowl which complements the outer design. There is a design in the lip of the creamer as well as outside the creamer. Note* Picture #4 shows a glass reflection in the inner sugar bowl-this is a reflection of the light when photographing it and not an imperfection. These pieces are in mint condition. This is a magnificent coin silver fish serving set, ca. 1865, unmarked, in the Aesthestic taste with boldly cast and applied medallions and highly decorative bright-cut engraving. While unmarked, this set bears a striking resemblance to a medallion pattern made by John Polhamus and retailed by Tiffany during the same period.
