With its original powder puff made with either cygnet (baby swan) or gosling (baby goose) down, this American brilliant cut glass dresser box measures 5" diameter, 3" high. The lid is sterling silver and does has some dents around the edges. The cut glass is perfect.
Antique Anglo-Indian carved sandlewood box with nail decoration, ivory banding, velvet lining and paw form ivory feet. Circa 1875.

19th Century French bronze hinged box with engraved sides. The lid featured a rooster made of very fine feathers under glass. Original lining. In excellent condition, this little treasure measures approximately 4 1/4" long, 1" deep and 3" at widest point.

Fine old Shan Burmese lacquer box, circa early 20th century with one tray and depicting monkeys playing in foliate background. This piece is a real classic beauty (IMHO). There are a couple of repairs at the edge of the rim noted in enlargements as well as craclature on the surface and nicks around the foot. H: 19.2cm/7.6in and D: 22cm/8in.
A tortoise shell and sterling silver inlay cigarette box, the interior cedar wood. The underline of the text with makers mark for Saunders & Shepherd (the firm founded in 1869 and still working), town mark for their Chester branch and L for 1894. Measures "4 / 10.3 cm x "4 / 10 x "2/ 5 cm. Condition: slight warping to the corners of the lid (cf. pics).

Wonderful terrier dog dressed up in a huntsmans riding helmet. Mixed metal, highly detailed. Missing inkwell bowl.
Very worn paint finish w/ minor hints of brown paint and red mouth indicate it was fully painted at one time.
Very good structural condition. Heavy base.
Measures 5 inches tall.
A Scottish wood travelling tobacco or pipe box, wonderfully and fulsomely decorated with penwork. The scene on the top shows two older men arguing or bargaining, in front of what appear to be farm buildings. Under this is "And test Me nhow auld boy" followed by the initials HC. The sides and bottom of the box are decorated with finely drawn rows of leaves...

Two small different shaped photo frames. Made of steel with gold damascene. The larger in the Moorish style with arabesques in the shape of a mihrab, the small one in oval form, backsides gilt. Condition: few traces of usage, the oval one without glass. Dimension: c. 13.8 x 7.8 cm and 8.4 x 6.4 cm.
American Gilded on Carved wide and deep step Wooden Framed Mirror, Ca. before 1920, 27" high, 22" wide, 3" deep for frame, frame itself: 5" wide and 3" deep, nice old brilliant gold, with carved Gold on Gesso outer frame, the condition is used in good condition. Can be used as a frame for painting, or as a mirror.
A 19th century "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design. The box is divided into two pieces. The box is for betel leaves and lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients.
