This English Georgian mahogany desk is ablaze with fine flame mahogany figured wood on its front and with solid sides. The drawers are slightly graduated, rising from a frame with bracket feet. The brass pulls have the Prince of Wales symbol.

Some superficial nicks to the leather and roughness to leather around handle. Some neatsfoot oil would cover in these nicks. The silk top hat, made for the hunts, is black with inside diameter of 7.5 and 6.5"...

A finely crafted rush-seated mahogany chair made by the manufactury of Thomas Glenister (Temple Works, High Wycombe) for the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in Westminster Abbey on 9 August 1902. Condition: very good - very little wear and no repairs or restoration.

From our European Collection, a very fine English oak refectory table, late 18th / early 19th century, hand-tooled from solid plank timbers and iron nails, using rustic style hand-carving for design motifs, and with crossbar support on the bottom. This piece has great natural patina to the wood that gives it wonderful character in addition to the charm of its obvious Olde Worlde masculine feel. English 19th century burl walnut highboy in 18th C Georgian style. Elegant queen Anne carved legs on the base. Cross banded drawers and pullout lined folding shelf or press. Hand made brass pulls dove tail construction some 20th century refurbishing to drawer runners.

A very high quality mahogany drop leaf table with turned legs and stretchers with a shaped apron at either end. The three boards, one for the top and one for each leaf are well matched single boards. Excellent proportion and a nice small size. 27 ½ tall X 28 ¾ long X 11 ½ wide in inches. With the leaves up 31 ½ inches wide.
