Pair Empire period Gilded on Wood Sconces, Ca. early 1800's, 13" high, 11" deep, 6 1/2" wide-back plate, ready to install, no need for rewiring, with fluted round back and graceful arms connected to Candle sleeves made of original Gold color metal parts. One sconce has split on the thick heavy wood back plate in the center, the other sconce is in good condition. Gilding is worn and missing in some areas of the vermeil Gilding surface...

A pair of patinated and gilt bronze four light candelabra in the early 19th century style and probably of the period. Most of the later 19th century bases are attached with screws directly to the underside of the feet. These are attached through a piece of wood and bolts are held in place with hand cut square nuts. Good casting and chasing. The height is 24 inches (61 cm).

Condition: overall excellent with much of the patination and gilding intact. One of the candle cups replaced...

An exceptional gilt bronze candelabra in the rococo fashion, with 5 arms plus apex stem providing 6 lights. The detail is mesmerizing especially as one realizes that each candelabrum was cast in multiple parts and individually fastened to the main body. The base is a quatrefoil plinth with scrolled feet atop whose frame sits a flower. The front has an elaborate torch and sheaves fixture...

A beautiful pair of old Sheffield candlesticks with original removable bobeches. What makes these so rare and superb are the period old Sheffield silver peg lamps with their original burners.

Peg lamps themselves are not uncommon, but they are inevitably in pewter, glass, or brass. The only other Sheffield pair I have seen was is a book on early lighting, described as highly unusual and rare; 12" tall

Very rare monumental antique 18th-century large Polish brass Hanukkah lamp in a rare "round" eight-armed candelabrum style. Composed of many elements cast and turned on a primitive lathe, then hand engraved, notched, and punched.

DETAILS: a large molded circular base embellished with notched six-pointed stars, engraved fish scales, and garlands rests on three lying lions, multiple balusters stem adorned with rings, notched six-pointed stars, zigzag, and punched with circles and garlands...

A Fine and Interesting Lamp. Measures about 19 1/2" tall and 12" square. Very good condition, mica has been replaced. Lamp converted from oil burner, signed on brass "The Juno Lamp, made in U.S.A."

From the Lumiere Collection by Galerie L'Enfant. 19th century cast brass heeled boot form chamber stick; flattened wedding ring hand with circular brass base supported by three cast brass spherical feet, probably English.

This lamp is named because of its presence on a table in a photograph taken on the occasion of President Coodide taking the oath of office. This was at his grandfather's farm, after Present Harding's sudden death.

Chinese Green Glazed Monochrome Pottery Joss Stick Lamp, 12" to the top of the brass fixture, 5" wide base, newly converted to a lamp, ready to use. The condition is good.

Fine pair of Antique French Louis XVI style ormolu candlesticks with circular bases with laurel leaf decoration and tapered, fluted shafts with applied laurel swags. Late 19th-century, now wired as lamps.
