Exceptional Sheraton Tea Chest in satinwood banded in rosewood and with ebony and boxwood stringing: having a rectangular hinged lid with silverplated pull opening to an interior with two fitted tea caddies with oval lids and similar inlaid decoration. English, circa 1790.

Rare George III Tea Caddy with Hidden Drawer, rectangular with stepped hinged top surmounted by a brass carrying handle, brass escutcheon and sliding side panel revealing a hidden drawer (patch above keyhole, lacks interior dividers).
One of the rarest of this form of tea caddy, the concealed drawer would have held your silver teaspoons.

Unusual Wood Tea Caddy or Tobacco Box in the form of a doghouse with brass nails and door surround and with a brass dog sitting outside. It opens by gently lowering the dog's hinged head which releases the peaked roof form lid which opens to a tin lined interior. The whole is mounted on a plinth base with brass beading. Circa 1870, probably Black Forest.

Large 19th Century Scandinavian pudding or butter box hand caved with intricate foliage in deep relief. The lid is held in position by two upstanding wings and a carved wooden pin inserts on one side to further secure the lid. In excellent condition it measures 12 inches high an 9.75" diameter.
Antique Dueling Pistol Case in mahogany, rectangular with brass carrying handles, now having a marbled paper interior and mounted on a later Chippendale style stand. Probably English, late 18th/early 19th Century.

All original hand forged iron hardware including the unusual side carrying handles which when swiveled up, allowed a wooden pole through it allowing two persons to transport it. An antique Japanese Okidoko (low display stand) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Used in a Tokonoma as a portable display stand atop which decorations like scrolls were hung or flower arrangements were displayed. A very rare and superb Octagon British Wooden TEA CADDY WITH TORTOISE SHELL AND MOTHER OF PEARL inlays, ca. 1800.
The top knob for opening and the 4 small feet are made of bone. The tea caddy comes with the original key and the mechanism works well.

A beautiful and striking tall pair of brass push-up pulpit candlesticks with dish bases. Made in England, c1820. These elegant sticks have sets of scribed lines at intervals along the column, and wonderfully crafted joinings.
Excellent condition, with fully working slides. 17 1/2 inches tall, and a base diameter of 6 5/8 inches.

A very interesting carved and gilded wood panel, found here in Southern California, origin unknown. There are remaining traces of gilding and to a lesser extent, possibly polychrome paint. I have found no writing/labels, and frustratingly, there is no further information traveling with it. The piece measures 15" by 32". I am wondering if it might be of American origin, although in my mind I think it could be French. The wood seems to be pine...
Rare, circa 1860, English walnut tea caddy featuring nice clean lines with its only decoration being the word “TEA” inlaid in sterling silver. The lid is hinged and the interior features two separate rectangular compartments with removable wooden lids for storage.
