When we say that these candelabra are "le fin de siecle" we are referring to more than their late 19th century manufacture. They are superb example of Baroque style lighting which befits a place begging for a fine appointment. Why are we using French to describe these Italian cast brass masterpieces which must surely be one of a kind?
The candelabra have an architectural solidity with the square feet supporting floral faced blocks which frame a flower and scrolling vine motif...

If you are tired of the mundane, normal, and ho-hum, you must consider this antique tin wall sconce. I was gob smacked when I first saw it. It is intricately stamped with sun flowers, fruits, and foliage, and it is large. In the center is a concave recession which may have been for its reflector. However, the paint appears to be original...
A fine antique walnut corner cabinet with beautiful warm patina - though I suspect that it has been refinished somewhere along the road. Wood shelves; dentil molding; wood pegs still present; brass hinges, and closing clasps added. Double doors top and bottom. The feet have been cut somewhat. It has normal wear and tear of a piece of this age. The cabinet is at least 19th C, but may even be late 18th century...
A fantastic late 19th C. Eastlake walnut slant front desk with glass doors for the book case and solid doors for lower storage. It has interior drawers and cubby spaces. Additional features include red felt on the desk; detailed, applied foliate moldings, arched glass, serpentine bonnet, and a rare brass candlestick holder. It is in over all very good to excellent condition...
This rope bedframe has warmth which only time and wear can give. It has head and foot boards with some extra touches such as spool posts and turned legs. It retains its bed rails making modernization a plausible option. This bedframe is a very nice example with extra details which the average bedframe of its era did not have.
I conservatively date this bedframe to mid 19th century but it could be somewhat earlier, but if pushed I place date to c. 1840...
