The handle has an elegantly elongated wreath design and the bowl of the spoon has been decoratively pierced by masterful craftsmen of the period. Measuring 3.25 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter, this lovely Victorian Barber Shop, mustache or shaving cup or mug remains in excellent condition but for the subtle wear to the gilt-edged rim.

The cup is embossed with swirls, dots and bows as well as decorated further with gold-drawn designs and 2 large, hand-painted pink roses with 1 smaller cream-colored rose. The cup base is scalloped and the fancy handle is gold-gilded.

Wonderful standing Regina Carola Self Changing music box with double comb and 21 15 1/2" discs. This music box is mahogany and has been beautifully kept and plays wonderfully. It stands 67 1/2" tall x 28" wide x 22" deep. It has a double comb and 12 discs which change after each one plays. There is a drawer that has 9 extra discs. All the original paperwork and directions are there. I can't say enough about this box - its wonderful!

Antique Japanese Shō, mouth organ (flute) used in Gagaku (classical performances traditionally for the imperial court). A musician blows through the silver lined protruding mouthpiece. The air travels through the bamboo tubes creating notes (said to sound like the Ho bird or phoenix). Skillful musicians are able to blow air in and out of the mouth pieces creating sustained, uninterrupted notes.
The arrangement of bamboo tubes are said to resemble the folded wings of the phoenix.

A huge white bronze / early brass mortar of the finest execution, likely apothecary, incl. pestle, Northern Europe, ca. 1690.
