A Veracruz life size head from 600 AD-900 AD. This figure wears a cap with head ornamentation and ear spools. The pupils and mouth are blackened with bitumen. A flesh tone slip covers the head. It is mounted on a stand. In fine conditon althought there is a minor crack on the left cheek.

A very unusual and possible rare pottery bowl with an elongated square design, Quimbaya, 7th.-14th. cent. AD.

A low rim bowl decorated on the sides with multible lines and criss-cross.

Size: 19,3 cm. wide, 15 cm. deep and 6 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice and intact with ancient patina.

Mesa Verde b/w Large duck effigy pitcher ca. 1180 ad., it is approx: 6-1/2"long X 5-1/2"wide X 7-1/2"high, it is intact except for one shard is restored on rim, the handle and body is intact and original.

This extraordinarily rare Olmec necklace has 57 beads all made from Imperial green true jadeite. All are highly translucent except 4 small beads. It measures 30" when strung open from end to end. It has been restrung in modern times. I have never seen nor heard of pre-Columbian imperial jadeite of this quality. There is only one other imperial jadeite necklace that is in the Museo Nacional de Antropologia museum. Please e-mail me for a photo of that necklace...

Impressive pottery stamp seal carved with 4 birds (Flamingos?) over a geomethric panel, Pre-Columbian, Chancay, 12th.-15th. century AD.

The stamp is completely intact and massive! There's a projecting spike on the back.

Alaska Eskimo harpoon spear point 2.3" long, circa Thule culture 1200 AD to 1700 AD. It was found on Saint Lawrence Island located in the Bering Strait Northern coastal region of Alaska. It has beautiful dark patination. In great condition and is very solid.

This impressive boxlike purse was hand beaded and constructed as a souvenir by a member of the Iroquois nation at the turn of the century. The beadwork — all of it intact — tells the story: the maker beaded the words and numerals ‘Box,’ ‘Montreal’ and ‘1907’ on the top, front and back. There are sunburst-like designs on each side, and the handle is made of two twisted strands of clear beads; three groups of looped strands dangle from the bottom...

This is a Mayan Jade sitting cross-legged pregnant woman. Depictions of women are rare. Pregnant women are even rarer. She is wearing a coiled snake headdress. Snakes are a powerful symbol among the Maya. In their primal form, snakes represent the surge of life force that brings all things on earth into manifestation. It is 3" tall. Excellent patina. No damage. It was found in Guatemala and dates to 250-600AD. I purchased it in 1991 from dealer Michael Robbins.

This ceramic warrior is in the process of throwing a rock with another in his hand and a basket full on his back. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. The figure was acquired in Mexico in the mid-20th century and is attributed to the Colima horizon, c.300BC-300AD. It is 4" tall. It retains some red pigment. Antique and rare form Yerba Mate cup, in silver, Spanish Colonial style, 19th century or earlier, featuring doves, parrots, floral and foliate designs, and other birds, on round base with scrolling sculpted feet. The cup alone measures 8" high, with a base of7" diameter. The bombilla is 7 3/4" long. Unsigned and unmarked, which is usually the case. Entire cup and base are of hand wrought silver with embossed designs and attached figures of doves and parrots...

A well-modeled figure measuring 8 inches in height. The figure is shown kneeling, with a cape or cloak draped over the left arm, the right hand resting on a knee. A twisted turban sits on the figures head, and prominent "ear-flares" are present. Intact, with losses and abrasions to the surface.
