This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. They were pictured in the Oregon Archaeological Society Magazine "Screenings" Volume 5 Number 6 on August 13, 1956. A copy of the article is included. They were recovered from the Wakemap Mound. The longest is 3". These are extremely rare bone items with beautiful patina.

This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. This Olmec translucent jade figure is 1 7/8" long. The bottom was broken off in antiquity which allows one to peer into its ancient patina and jade composition and also keeps the price affordable. The drill hole is original which is important as it is the best place to look at for authenticity. I had a jeweler install a modern 14K gold loop so I could wear it. It has excellent provenance which goes to the buyer.

This impressive boxlike purse was hand beaded and constructed as a souvenir by a member of the Iroquois nation at the turn of the century. The beadwork — all of it intact — tells the story: the maker beaded the words and numerals ‘Box,’ ‘Montreal’ and ‘1907’ on the top, front and back. A well-modeled figure measuring 8 inches in height. The figure is shown kneeling, with a cape or cloak draped over the left arm, the right hand resting on a knee. A twisted turban sits on the figures head, and prominent "ear-flares" are present. Intact, with losses and abrasions to the surface.

This ceramic warrior is in the process of throwing a rock with another in his hand and a basket full on his back. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. This finely carved shell skull was found by the famous Dr. Allen Heflin on 9-16-61 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. This Aztec piece dates to 1200AD. It is drilled for suspension. A nice little ancient piece that could be used in jewelry. It is 1/2" long and solid.

A Veracruz life size head from 600 AD-900 AD. This figure wears a cap with head ornamentation and ear spools. The pupils and mouth are blackened with bitumen. A flesh tone slip covers the head. It is mounted on a stand. In fine conditon althought there is a minor crack on the left cheek.

This is a very fine and extremely rare pipe from Venezuela known as a pipas angulares de barro procedentes. There is only one book written on Aztec pipes. "Pipas Precortesianas" was written by Muriel N. Porter. Porter states that Aztec pipes are extremely scarce and "we can almost say that pipes were unknown." An abstract axe figure depicting a standing man carved from a green hard stone from the Mezcala Culture, late preclassic period (300-100 BC).
