A rare and massive octagonal Islamic tile in Blue & White ceramic material, probably stone-past, imitating Ming Dynasty, Near East, c. 15th.cent. AD
A huge tile with fine style floral decoration in blue and white. Unfortunately missing a bit and put together from three large pieces. The tile is measuring 26,5 cm. x 26 cm. so each of the pieces is basically as large as most tiles are!

A very special and rare stamp seal, carved in the shape of a high tower with 4 turrets. The base engraved with a seated humanoid figure beside a tree. Drilled at the top.
Size: 28 mm. tall and 16,5 mm. wide at the max.
Condition: Very fine, loss to one turret but othervise good very fine and with a nice ancient patina.

A massive bronze figurine from the medieval period, Islamic, Seljuq Empire, 10th.-11th. century AD.
The lion stands erect on 4 legs and incised details of the mane and head. A particularly charming specimen with finely made features of the head of the Lion, heavy body and seperate legs. Would have been quite expensive in the medieval period with it's high weight of solid bronze and nice workmanship.

Votive figure of a naked woman, standing with her arms to the thighs. The head shows schematic features and a casket like wig. Schematic rendering of the body, crudely carved in the round.
Enhanced with red and black painted decoration. Red for the necklaze, the upper arm bracelets and the (decorative lines) around the shins. Remains of black on the hair and the pelvic triangle.
Freestanding figures are comparatively rare. Other variants show women standing within shrines or niche...
Rare terracotta draped Corinthian column, the details of the capital and the drapery finely modeled.
The motif is uncommon and supposed to bear some funerary significance.
Behind the monograms ΠΓ. A small vent hole below the inscription.
