A huge collection of 19 flint blades and flakes dating to around 5th-4th mill B.C. Some could also be earlier since blades like these were used through both Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. They were easy to make and very sharp and efficient tools.

Many from this collection still have sharp edges, and could be used today.

Sizes up to ca. 10-12 cm.

Condition: A very fine collection with nice patinas.

A huge and very impressive stamp seal of Northern Anatolia, Ubaid period, early 4th. mill. BC.

The base engraved with two horned animals with an arrow symbol behind the largest animal and a severed head between them, it's carved with a low rounded gable, drilled through.

A fine large cylinder seal of the early Jemdet Nasr barrel shaped design, Mesopotamia, 3300-2900 BC. The seal is carved in a hard and dense material either a marple type or perhaps shell (?).

Seal very large for the period and craved with a fine grit-pattern and concenthric lines at each end. A string-carved round line at one side would have been made in antiquity.

Interesting stoneage artifact, probably a massive weight of sorts or alternatively, a mace-like weapon.

It's shape is oval, almost like a melon, and it's made in a light grey granite stone. It has 4 symethric ridges for some kind of binding, but we're not certain of it's usage - you're welcome to e-mail if you have seen this artifact before / have got a litterary refference for it. It comes from a Neolithic collection and we will date it roughly 2500-1500 BC with some uncertainty!

Amuletic figure of the canine god Wepwawet depicted on the bar of a standard. The front of the sledge is curved like a billowing sail and integrates a couple of rearing uraeus cobras.
The jackal wears a dog collar, the suspension loop behind is partially preserved. This small example was intended as a protective amulet.
