One of a group of very large Ming Dynasty pottery horse riders.
The figure is of a military attendant, wearing a hat and carrying a sword on hiss side. He wears a green robe with yellow sleaves -Sancai colors. The unglazed areas are covered with white and black pigmented colors.
Note that the painting is very detailed and includes wonderful thick and perfectly rendered facial features.

This piece was made at the kiln in Henan pottery area. It is very popular to be called as "Henan tenmoku" which has black glaze with patterns of rusty glaze. The pattern tends to peel off because of overglaze, however this piece has patten clearly remained.

Very rare pottery bowl and eclectic with Taoist imagery. This is made from a high fired light gray pottery, with traces of a white slip and depictions of musicians, dancers and “demon” masks. This is a funerary piece; the symbology suggests the transition from this world to the afterlife. D: 14cm/5.5in and H: 5.2cm/2in. No cracks original pigments with some kiln warpage
This is a excavated piece with very good condition, it has clear coloring of brown glaze.

A wonderfull pair of decorative pottery figures of seated Dignitaries or Officials, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

A Chinese Black-Glazed Bottle. Circa, 12th-13th Century, Late Song-Early Yuan Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Featuring an ovoid shaped body rising from a short straight foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a short waisted neck, flaring out to a slightly everted rim and is covered overall in a black glaze that stops short above its foot.
Measurements: height 5.3"inches.
Condition: its glaze is matte, possibly due to sea corrosion but is overall in very good condition.

Featuring a globular body with a short waisted neck that flares out to a flanged rim which is slightly depressed in the center with two loop handles on opposite sides of its shoulders. The vessel is covered overall in an olive green yue-type celadon glaze, except for its base, exposing its grey stoneware clay.
Measurements: Height 10.5”inches.
Condition: Some glaze loss but overall in excellent condition. Free from any restorations.

Wonderful pair of Ming Dynasty ceramic joss stick holders in the form of guardian lions in rich turquoise glaze on brown pedestals.
Measure 6 3/4" high, 5 3/4" wide, and 2 1/2" deep.
Figures are of buff colored clay, are hollow with hole in top for holding sticks.
The turquoise glaze is somewhat mottled over the surface, deeper in color in some areas, and having a greenish hue in other areas, while the raised areas show the color of the underlying clay. Gorgeous color and luster to the glaz...
