A Chinese reticulated iron porcelain snuff bottle with a dragon and phoenix among clouds beneath key fret and ryui border, neck with a silver rim, jade stopper. The red color is the same as used when decorating porcelain, though in this case it is applied as a solid color. The desired effect is to imitate red cinnabar lacquer. Circa, probably from the Jiaqing period (1796 - 1820). Height 3".

This middle or late 19th century Meiping shape snuff bottle has a white background and fine copper red crackles around the entire body. It is 3 ½ inches tall and 1½ inches on the widest part. The cap and spoon are later replacements. It is in excellent condition.

This rare middle or late 19th century ¡°tea dust¡± porcelain snuff bottle is 3 inches tall and 1½ inches on the widest part. The color and the shape of the body are superb. It is in excellent condition.

This snuff bottle is molded in the form of a wine pot which is secured in a woven basket. It is inscribed with the wine maker¡¯s name De Run Zheng and the name of the wine Zhuang Yuan Hong. The seal mark is Yong Zheng period but is considered as Tong Zhi or Guang Xu period (1862~1908). It is 3 inches tall and 1 ¾ inches at the widest part. Beside some small chips on the woven part, it is in good condition.

This very well designed hand carved early 20th century Chinese ivory snuff bottle of a shape of a corn is 3 ½ inches high and 1 ½ inches wide from bottom. It depicts a beetle resting on an ear of a corn. It is in great condition.

Tibetan snuff bottle with wood body, with decorative silver base and shoulders. The silver work shows a bird with elaborate wing feathers and thin handles on either side of the bottle. The stopper lid is capped with coral and the spoon is also silver. The condition is very good. Bottle measures 3" x 2"

The pair of early 20th century carved ivory emperor and empress snuff bottles are 2 ½ inches high, 7/8 inches wide and ½” thick. The emperor’s right hand holds a fan; his left hand carries a long staff. The empress’ right hand holds a flower; her left hand carries a round fan. The impressions on their faces are very well presented and their robes and hair pieces are nicely carved and colored. Aside from some worn pigment due to age, they are in really great shape.

A etremely rare Kanton enamelled gilt-copper European-subject snuff bottle. Qianlong mark and period ( 1736 - 1795 ). Provenance : From an old Austian Family collection, in the past sold at the famous Austrian Auction house Dorotheum and according to Dorotheum`s expert Mrs. Dr. Jorinde Ebert this rare piece at least was for the past 150 years in this family collection. Large flatten-formed snuff bottle carved from translucent agate having various smoke-like inclusions ranging from dark brown to a light brownish-ochre. The two narrow sides are carved with a stylish mask motif with a pendant handle. A low, shallow carved foot forms the base. The stopper is a large cabochon of aventurine quartz. Few very small chips to the mouth edge from use and wear, otherwise very good condition.

Overall height: 3 ¼ inches; Width: 2 ¼ in.
