A late Ming dynasty jar with under glaze blue banding and decorated in typical Wucai style with over glaze iron red and green and yellow enamels depicting two phoenix in flight amongst styalized peoney foliage; there is a lotus scroll band on the shoulder. This item was made in China and probably exported to Europe circa 1600 -1640. Condition - there is an old repair to the brown dressed rim - no cracks and no further damages or restoration....

Chinese Blanc De Chine Libation Cup of rhinoceros horn form. With applied decoration on one side, of a tiger below a dragon and prunus, the other side with a deer below a stork and pine. Of a warm colour. Kangxi L17thC. Length 9.6cm. Height 5.5cm. Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration.

Museum quality, because there was a bowl with a quite similar decoration in the Percival David Foundation which is now in the collection of the British Museum. ( please have a look at the last image ) Very fragile potted, a amazing Cobalt blue. Ming Dynasty Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ) Diameter : 6,6 cm. H : 4,3 cm. Condition : Chipped, very fine short hairline that however nothing changes in the fact, that this is a amazing piece.

Nice Kobalt blue, very nice smooth glaze. Ming Dynasty Wanli period ( 1573 - 1620 ) Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 16,5 cm. H : 17,9 cm. Condition : There is one crack to the neck towards the rim and another crack to the body of the Kendi. Since both cracks seem to be very old both cracks do not desturb the nice appearance of the piece. ( Please have a look at the enlargements )

Beautiful Chinese fragment of a dragon robe, Kangxi period, Qing dynasty. Decorated with 3 five-clawed dragons. A front faced dragon located at the chest area while the other two dragons holding fire pearl looking upward and flying above the sea waves. This is a rare late Ming dynasty (1368~1615) carved bamboo statue. It depicts a bearded warrior on a horse. The rider¡¯s head is raised up, eyes wide open; his left arm is gently holding the bridle.
