Condition: The foot rim is lightly ground; chips around inside the foot rim which happened before firing. No other flaw other than these. Height: 13-3/4".

A Chinese hardwood container/ box formed in the shape of a fan. The base is fitted with distinct Chinese geometric scrolling motifs often seen in Chinese wood carvings and architecture. Chinese Song dynasty conical form bowl with slightly flared rim covered in a pale blue-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the flat, unglazed low foot. Fine comb incised abstract swirling patterns are faintly visible in the interior. 6 5/8” diameter x 2 1/2" high. Circa 13th century. Good overall condition. There are two long old hairlines down one side of the interior and a single hairline with a fork on the other side (see closeup images)...

An antique Chinese long table carved with motif of scrolling clouds and a type of fungus knowns as Lingzhi, an auspicious motif and an actual fungus used in Chinese medicine. A stoneware bottle with an very decorative Guan-like glaze. Although the shape of this rare piece is clearly a Song Dynasty shape reference images from a reputable Chinese porcelain site point to a dating to the Ming Chenghua period. Since there is a copyright to this reference images I cannot show them here. H : 10,8 cm. Condition : Chipped to the rim as you can see this on the images, further in perfect condition ( body not cracked ).

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, an extremely well-painted pair of Qianlong Period (1736-1795), "soft paste" porcelain dishes, depicting what is probably a tea merchant's house on the bank of the Pearl River in Canton, including the typical "river scene" elements of bridges, water, land masses, and distant mountains, all executed in an especially vibrant blue, with an ornate border richly decorated in a combination of butterflies, ruyi head, and cash diaper motifs...

This is a charming old cloisonne teapot from the later part of the Qing Dynasty in China. During this time period the traditions and culture of tea making and drinking had evolved to include the appreciation of tea articles as art objects in addition to their utilitarian purposes. This well crafted miniture teapot would have been sought after for its sculptural form.

Antique Chinese tasseled blue silk pouch, with embroidered flowers, a butterfly, and a rooster. The character below the embroidery butterfly is "Shou", for longevity while the butterfly is a symbol for love. A rooster symbolizes good luck and fortitude.

The vase has a bulbous body that tapers to a wide neck that rises to a shallow, rounded rim, and is covered allover and inside the foot with a glaze of soft, slightly greyish sea-green color with guan crackled type. Southern Song 12th-13th century. Condition : a minor fritt, no chips, hairlines or cracks and free from restoration. Diameter: 11 cm
