This pair of Chinese archer rings with wood stands and caps is a product of late 19th century. They are 1 3/16” high (the darker one is a little shorter), 1 3/8” in diameter and a quarter of an inch thick. They are 2 ½” high with the carved wood stands and caps. The two knobs are made from natural red coral. They are in excellent condition and look great on a scholar’s desk.

This Chinese carved jade (jadeite) brush washer is a product of the early 20th century. It depicts a lotus leaf and a blossom on its side. It is 5 ¼” long, 3” wide and half an inch thick. It is in excellent condition.

A scarce 18th Century U-shaped bowl decorated with iron red and very finely painted "famille rose" enamels depicting the Bajixiang - the Eight Buddhist Treasures - between key-fret and ruyi bands. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) and is of the period. A rare and very well painted enamel wine ewer - with documentary decoration in Chinese taste possibly depicting the story of the Daoist Immortal Lu Dong Bin. An early Ming dynasty Celadon bowl made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province during the first half of the 15th Century (circa 1400 - 1450 AD). An exceptionally rare turquoise-glazed porcelain vase or flask made in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province,China, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). The neck is decorated with upright plantain leaves, each shoulder with styalized lotus scroll design and applied buddhistic lion head. The central panels front and back feature the Hehe Erxian - the twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - one holding a basket from which has been released a bat, in flight amongst clouds...

There were many hundreds of smaller Tang Dynasty Changsha bowls on the Belitung wreck, but just very very few larger pieces of the same kind. This is one of these extremely rare larger pieces. By its extraordinary large size despite its glaze degradations this piece appears extremely decorative. A " must " for any Belitung - collection. Diameter : 20,9 cm. H : 8 cm. Condition : Except that glaze degradations this piece is in a perfect condition.
