Small covered box with an embossed decoration all around the body representing stylised animals in small medalions. The lid is surmounted by an animal (tiger?) and the base is decorated with a lotus. Solid silver with a fine patina. Burma, 19th century. Height: 5.5 cm. Diameter: 5.7 cm. Very goodcondition.
A radiant casket made in the Koftgari technique, which is one of the most important types of South Asian metalware. Koftgari work features fine gold wire or gold leaf overlay hammered into patterns incised into the surface of an iron ground. The bottom decoration made in silver alloy foil, which unless cleaned has typically oxidised to black. Pakistan, Panjab, Sialkot or Gujrat, Kotli Loharan, ca. 1850 - 1870. Size : 16 x 11,7 cm. Height approximately 29.5 cm. Few small dents. The base has been layered with tin to increase weight, not for repairing purposes (must see photo number 10). There are many ornaments (silver inlaid) not appeared (more photos let us know). Overall it's a good vase.
Large antique bronze rain drum from Laos is a Herger type three drum. Reference material "The Karen Bronze drum of Burma" by Richard M. Cooler. It has two frogs (eight altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two elephants and two snails representing water and fertility. A globular flared body rises with four attached handles of frog design. Circular concentric pattern continues throughout the body...

This item was made in Burma (Myanmar) in the 19th Century under the rule of Queen Victoria and the British Empire. .
Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs.

Fine rectangular lime box made of bronze, decorated with numerous silver inserts representing floral and geometric designs. Inside the box are four compartments with their lids, also decorated with silver inserts showing stylised flowers. Philippines archipelago, Mindanao island, early 19th century. Dimensions: length: 9.3 cm, height: 6.1 cm. Slight abrasion due to age, otherwise very good condition. Provenance: Acquired in Luzon island in 1978.
Belt buckle of square shape, with a fine relief geometric decoration. Bronze, with nice age patina. Burma, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Length: 9.5 cm. Height: 6.2 cm. Very good condition.
This is an 18th century, or early 19th century Balinese iron buckle, decorated with serpent motifs with gold inlay. There is some age-related rubbing with associated loss to the inlay, as would be expected. There is an inlaid calligraphic inscription to the back of the "fastener," which I have not had translated. The pieces measure, variously, 2-5/8" X 2-1/2" for the buckle, and 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" for the "fastener." The listing is for both pieces.

Hollow cast in coppery-bronze. Two similar images depict Buddha in “Earth touching” mudra. Both are heavy castings, having an even, dark brown patina and hollow interiors with old brown patina and light traces of verdigris. The backs of both pedestals are cast with a lopp just below the seated Buddha and these were used to secure these two smaller images to a larger altarpiece...
