The model for this Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) bowl was one of the most famous Chenghua Imperial " Palace Bowls ". Antique Japanese stringed instrument called a koto, with a black lacquer box lined in fabric with floral motif and a cherry blossom crest in gilt lacquer on the lid. It is made from kiri wood (paulownia) and is covered in beautiful, intricate inlay of coral, mother of pearl, and shells in the forms of various flowers and birds. A koto player would kneel before the instrument to play. Special bridges are used on each string to alter the pitch. Size: 4.5" H x 9" W x 70" L

A rare Ming dynasty blue glazed big mandarin duck with cover, two headed mandarin duck shape with blue glaze and unglazed base, good condition with small chip at the rim and small touch up on the tip of the duck mouth, cover slightly different blue tone, please see picture for detail, size: 13 cm from head to tail, 10 cm wide and 10 cm height.

Onigawara, Roof Tile End Caps, of fired clay with motifs of Daikoku's Hammer and Tama, the Buddhist Jewel of Wisdom. H. 37cm(14.5") x W.56cm(22"0 x D.11cm(4.5"). Excellent condition from Meiji Era. The region of Ogi in west-central Japan was a well-known center of roof tile prodcution, and continues this trade today.

A Yuan - early Ming longquan celadon large cosmetic cover box, rounded side with circular body and slightly domed shape, box decorated with ruyi border and lower part with continuous flower motif, the interior with three circular containers linked by a floral lappet, the cover is not originally comes with the lower part but nicely match.
Cover box is in very good condition, no chip, no crack, no restoration.

A Chinese Famille Rose Pot, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 36 cm and height approximately 31.6 cm. The pot has a hair line and repaired.

This late 19th century Japanese gold lacquered tortoise shell box is 5 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide and 1 inch thick. On one side, it depicts an eagle resting on a plum tree and a sparrow flying over a river on the other side. The workmanship is precise and elegant. Except for a few tiny chips and scratches due to its age, it is in good condition.

Perfectly potted porcelain body. A very decorative Guan type glaze. Eighteenth century, most probably Yongzheng period. A very impressing and important piece. H : 27,4 cm. Condition : Perfect
