This is a fantastic little copper point from the Afghan/Turkestan area. It dates to circa 300 BC. It measures 142 mm in length and weighs 37 grams. It has a circular perforation in the tang. The piece has a light, attractive patina and is very solid and stable with no signs of damage or repair.

This Persian jar is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and iron brown and covered inside and out in a thick clear glaze with a blue-green tint. It is potted from a buff colored earthenware that is exposed around the lower portion with the glaze forming a rather thick and uneven curtain above. Antique 19th century Turkish Ottoman silver-gilt (unmarked) Islamic coffee cup holder “Zarf” of broad bowl and a low splayed foot, pierced and engraved in the lace form pattern with garlands of foliate motifs, three crescent moons with stars and two scripts in Arabic calligraphy.

Rectangular shaped fragment of a Persian miniature painted on an ivory plate representing horsemen hunting deer. The plate is affixed on a green velvet fabric and framed under glass. The frame itself is made of a fine wood and mother-of-pearl marquetry. Height of the miniature: 10,2 cm. Total height of the frame: 16,5 cm. Tiny old restoration on top of the frame, otherwise very good condition. Provenance: Auction sale by Primardeco in Toulouse, october 3rd 2012.

This is an ancient bronze dagger or spear from Judea. It dates to roughly 1100 BC, around the time of King David. This elegant weapon measures 208mm in length and weighs 103 grams. It has a beautiful,natural patina and shows no signs of damage or repair except a slight bend near the tip. The metal is solid and stable.

This old Indo-Persian Bronze bowl has ornate repousse pattern and is heavily patinated with use and age. The upper rim edge has a few small chips from ages past. The bowl is 4.5 inches in diameter and about 2.3 inches high. The bowl is an artifact from the early 1800'S.

Antique Islamic fruit sherbet spoon made of solid silver, 19th century Turkey. It has a Turkish Ottoman coin bowl and a long twisted stem handle. The silver is marked 800, indicating its grade, and has an elaborate finial in the shape of a crown. The finial is adorned with Islamic symbols, including a crescent moon and a star. The bowl is made of a 20 Kurush silver coin of Sultan Abdul Aziz II, which is dated AH 1277 (1861-1874 AD)...

(A handwritten modern note on the backing says Persia, circa 1800). Note the amazing detail and painstaking calligraphy and decoration...

A book cover made for a Qur'an, the originating country being North African or in the Middle East. A coarse weave is embroidered with green in counted stitch and with metal wrapped thread. The inside with very soft white leather. Condition: little wear and leather with stains. Dimension opened: 16.6 cm x 23.2 cm.

A Persian small brass or bronze box and lid from the Qajar period, 19th century. Of square shape with indented corners and exquisitely engraved with flowers and birds. An antique gunpowder flask called Barutdan was crafted in the 18th century in the Islamic Indo-Persian region. The flask is made of high-quality tooled leather and adorned with intricate designs characteristic of the region's artistic flair.

The ground fabric was certainly made in China. The ends of the shawl are finely embroidered in multi-colored silk yarn. The embroidery is identical on both surfaces.
