Northern Song Dynasty Celadon bowl (Chinese or possibly Korean) with incised flower design. Nice green glaze and symmetrical shape. There are no chips or cracks. Note a couple of flaws within glaze. Diameter: 7.5 inches; height: 3 inches.
Fine white Song Dynasty powder box with scroll pattern on lid and on base section. In very good condition. The top and bottom fit nicely together all round and are symmetrical in shape. A fine 18th Century Kano school painting depicted peony flowers. Behind the scene is a stream. It is painted with pigments of green (rokusho), which has been richly used. The combination of red and white flower symbolizes good fortune. This subject was painted in life size and a very good example of Kano school peony painting.

The crimson red ground worked in metal wrapped threads and polychrome silk, woven with a flower in lozenge shaped lattice. Composed of several pieces, two edges with Russian printed cotton fabric.
