Good Ming blue and white porcelain bowl with outer foliate and floral scrolling pattern. Some flea bites but no cracks or big chips. D: 13.6cm/5.1in and H: 5.9cm/2.2in.

This is a nice conical shaped Song dynasty (960 – 1276) medium size bowl of light grayish glaze. It stands on a short foot rim and recessed base rising to an everted conical shaped glazed body stopping short of the rim, exposing the stoneware of light grey colour. On the inside of the bowl, along the cavetto, it is incised with a cloud like motif with light combed hair line mark. On the base inside of the conical bowl, some minutes shaved particles could be seen...

The washer bowl has a concave base and gently curved sides. Inside is decorated with impressionistic incised abstract design. The scetchy style represented unidentifiable. This is said to be a Guan type brush washer of Southern Sung period, probably from Guan Kiln as the paste is more porous.

Two Genuine SONG Period, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI iron brown glazed jarlets, both with 2 intact loops and horizontal incised ringed ribbing towards the top, 14-16th Century. This is a Yuan Dynasty(1277-1367) celadon covered box. The top cover has a double circle with radiating club shaped like a sun ray all round. Just below it, is the design of foliage circling the all round. The flower part of the covered box also has foliage design design followed by a club shaped motif. The colour of the top half is lighter than the lower half of the covered box.

The covered box has minor abrasion and minute pinholes. No chip, crack, repair or restoration...

This is an extroadinarily rare Aztec ceramic pipe. There are only 3 others of this earliest type known to exist. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin on 12/2/60 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. The end of the stem has been broken off and appears to have been glued back on. This is not the prettiest of the 4 pipes I have listed, but it is the oldest likened unto Paleo vs. Archaic. I have what I believe to be the largest and finest collection of Aztec pipes in private hands.

A Five Dynasties to Northern Sung Yue yao celadon saucer, it is in good condition no crack, no restoration except some glaze degradation as shown and one very tiny 2mm chip on the reverse rim. Indeed a nice collection piece in any chinese or japanese art collection. Please enquire....
