Exceptionally LARGE Chinese Neolithic / Bronze Age Impressed Pottery Jar with Oxford TL Test
This extremely rare and imposing pottery jar dates to the around the 1st millennium BC, the late Chinese Neolithic / Bronze Age period. It is, without doubt, the largest and most substantial pottery jar we have ever encountered from this period. It has a rounded base and the whole of the outer surface has been decorated with repeated coarsely-woven cord impressions...
A splendid large steatite scarab from the New Kingdom, 16th. century BC- 11th. century BC.
The scarab is carved with a vase (?) flanked by a pair of hieroglyphs for the Cobra / Uraeus and further down the scarab beetle finely outlined in between hieroglyphs. The scarab is also finely carved on the back and with tiny details of body, head and legs. Note also the cylindrical finials for the horisontical drill.

A fine casted Chinese Bronze Guanyin statue from the Ming Dynasty 明朝 (1368-1644) with rests of gilt and a still readable Yongle mark. It comes together with a lacquered wooden stand.

A superb quality large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.
The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.
The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.
