This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities & Archaeological News, May 1997, page 35 #4.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

These four points were found in the Arkansas River area of southeast Colorado and are from the old-time collection of Arley Hudson. The longest one is 1 1/8". All are very thin and expertly chipped. They are from the Mississippian Period C1000AD.

This is a very rare trans Paleo to early Archaic point dating to 10,500-9000 B.P. This is a large size arrow point that has long tip to base convex turning parallel sided blade edges that transition into drooping basal auricles. The basal edge is concave and the haft is ground. This is an incredible 1 7/8" Columbia Plateau found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful translucent moss agate. It is a true G-10. One of the very best. It is from one of the all time great Northwest collections, Gordon Erspamer. I purchased it from a Jim Bennett auction who personally examined it and told me it was a one in a 10,000 point. Mr. Bennett has written three books on how to recognize reproductions and altered artifacts. They are currently selling on Amazon for $388 each.

This pointed bone splitter tool from the Bill Peterson Collection and ex-Jim Bennett is 5" L, including a 2" glued piece. It was found in Kentucky and shows incredible patina. It has a drilled hole for suspension. It is just a really neat bone tool in unusual form. It has been preserved with an Elmer's glue mix which many old collections used. I will hate to see this one go.

This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. This is an extremely rare assemblage of five bone gorgets. The top one is river-stained and highly engraved, almost unheard of. The middle one is very thin and also engraved. These 16 bone pendants were found together in Smythe County, Virginia on a Hopewell site. They are all identical in form. They are all drilled from the top at an angle. Average size is 1". They are made from squirrel shoulder blades. They have excellent patina and are all very solid. This is a very rare and unusual assemblage. They are ex Tom Davis. The name of the finder goes to the buyer.

This unique 3-pronged bone tool is probably a comb, but could be some type of fish or crawdad spear or even a fork. It was found at a Ft. Ancient site in Washington County, Kentucky on private property. One prong was broken off in antiquity and glued back on. This is the most unusual bone piece I have ever seen. It was obviously carved with stone tools. It is nicely polished with great patination. It dates to the Mississipian Period around 1000AD.
