This is an incredible 1 7/8" Columbia Plateau found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful translucent moss agate. It is a true G-10. One of the very best. It is from one of the all time great Northwest collections, Gordon Erspamer. I purchased it from a Jim Bennett auction who personally examined it and told me it was a one in a 10,000 point. Mr. Bennett has written three books on how to recognize reproductions and altered artifacts. They are currently selling on Amazon for $388 each.

If you are looking to fill your vacant Plainview Paleo spot, look no further. You would be hard-pressed to find a better example. It is 4 1/8" long. It has collateral high quality flaking. The hafting area is ground and it has basal thinning. It is made from a beautiful translucent chalcedony that is root beer colored. It was found in Mills County, Texas. I have owned it since 1998. It is a hands down G-10 and comes with a Bill Breckinridge laser COA.

Rare Antique Pre-Colombian Tairona Culture c. AD 900 – 1550. Burnished earthenware “four” holed effigy ocarina in the form of a deity wearing a long dress and a tall elaborate ceremonial headdress, seated on a Double-headed Serpent Throne. The blowhole is found on the top of the deity’s headdress.

Hohokam carved red basalt effigy big horn sheep ca. 650 ad. No Restoration, In as found condition with excellent ground deposits. The Hohokam seemed to use the red basalt for stone ceremonial effigies and objects but the red basalt was harder and rarer for them to find than the black basalt. This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. This glacial kame green banded slate gorget is 4" long. It was found near New Castle in Henry County, Indiana. It came out of the Chris Thompson collection. I purchased it from Gary Mumaw. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities, August 1995, page 44. This piece dates to late Archaic C2500BC. It is a beauty with fine concentric banding.

This whopping point is 4 7/8" long and 2 1/4" wide. Lar Hothem calls it a very scarce 1st stage St. Charles Dovetail. Tom Davis authenticated it as a Lost Lake, G-9. It is made from semi-translucent high quality burlington chert. It has excellent mineralization and patina. It has a very clear imprint of a fossilized shell on the upper left about a 1/4" from the tip, making this a no-brainer for authenticity. It was found near St. Louis, Missouri. This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities & Archaeological News, May 1997, page 35 #4.

This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

This fabulous Columbia River Gem Point is made from yellow, orange and ice translucent agate. It is Ex. Norma Berg collection. It is 13/16" and very thin. I haven't seen a color like this in 40 years of collecting.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

This beautiful crescent pick bannerstone is 3". It is in perfect condition with no damage or nicks anywhere. It is made from gorgeous concentric green and black banded slate. Found in Williams County, Ohio. From the collection of Dana Staley.

This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

These four points were found in the Arkansas River area of southeast Colorado and are from the old-time collection of Arley Hudson. The longest one is 1 1/8". All are very thin and expertly chipped. They are from the Mississippian Period C1000AD.

This exceptional point is 1 7/16" and was found in Washington. It is made from a beautiful translucent mostly yellow agate. It is 1 7/16". It has excellent patina. Ex. Norma Berg collection. A truly high quality point with very fine chipping.

Relics of the nile is pleased to present this Mayan bowl from Guatemala, ca. 500 - 800 AD. The bowl features solid color with an excellent, detailed design of chiefs that repeats around the circumference of the piece. The bowl remains in solid condition and the body remains intact with the exception of some chipping on the rim that has been slightly repaired in one place. The bowl measures 6" in diameter and has evidence of extensive usage, good root marks and mineral deposits.

This exceptional Eastgate is made from highly sought after carnelian agate. It is 11/16" and is classic in style. It is thin and well flaked on both sides. It is just an exquisite delicate little point with great patina. Ex. Norma Berg collection.

Like many of you, I love the colorful gem points the most. You might have noticed that I specialize in this type of point and most of my points are in the gem category. I do not know what material this point is made from. It is that unusual. I can only classify it as a chalcedony. I do not know what type this point is. It was found in Nebraska. It is expertly chipped. In fact, you cannot tell which side is side A. Both sides are equally masterfully chipped. A G-10 all the way. It is 1 5/8" long....

This beautiful Dovetail is made from high gloss, waxy, semi-translucent burlington chert. It has great patina and mineralization. It comes with a Tom Davis COA rating it a G-10. It is 4 1/4" long and 1 1/2" inches wide. It was found by Charlie Walker in Bourbon County, Kentucky

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.

This cannel coal gorget is 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" long. It is very thin and well made. It is from the Jim D. Humphrey's collection. He collected from 1930-1970. It is from the Holliston Mills site, Hawkins County, Tennessee, Holston River. It dates to C1500BC. A rare piece.

I purchased these four Hayes points from Tom Davis in the 1990's. They are from the Mississippian period and were found in SW Arkansas. This unique 3-pronged bone tool is probably a comb, but could be some type of fish or crawdad spear or even a fork. It was found at a Ft. Ancient site in Washington County, Kentucky on private property. One prong was broken off in antiquity and glued back on. This is the most unusual bone piece I have ever seen. It was obviously carved with stone tools. It is nicely polished with great patination. It dates to the Mississipian Period around 1000AD.

This is an extraordinarily rare unique turtle shell maskette. It is 2 5/8" X 2 1/2". It was found in Southern Illinois. It dates to the Mississippian Period, 1000AD. It has a hairline reminiscent of the Southeastern Shell Masks. I know of only one other example which is pictured in Lar Hothem's 'Antler, Bone & Shell Artifacts', page 309. This rare bone point was found by Carrol Howe and is pictured in his book "Ancient Tribes of the Klamath County", page 243. It dates to 4500BP and was found by Carrol at Nightfire Island, Siskyou County, California. It is 3 1/8" long and exhibits a beautiful patina.

Maya Jade Head, 1 7/8 " by 7/8" . CA. 500 A.D. to 900 A.D. On custom made steel display stand. The head is an ovoid shape, pierced with an ancient drilled hole for suspension. The piece was carved in the round. Beautiful deep dark green on over 3/4 of the head encompassing the left, frontal and partial right side, with a light green on the remaining 1/4 on the right side. This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. They were pictured in the Oregon Archaeological Society Magazine "Screenings" Volume 5 Number 6 on August 13, 1956. A copy of the article is included. They were recovered from the Wakemap Mound. The longest is 3". These are extremely rare bone items with beautiful patina.
