The plaque is finely carved with deep patterns, we can distinguish a bat, a symbol of happiness, and a vase of lotus flowers. A Chinese archaic pale green jade sword chape carved on one side with four linear designs, the reverse with a coiled dragon, 5cms wide, Western Han dynasty (202BC - 9AD). A similar chape was sold at Bonhams London, 18/5/23, lot 28, Keverne collection. Another sold at Christie's New York, 17/3/16, lot 920.

Small jade buckle cut with a grinding wheel, representing a dragon (chilong) curved on itself in the archaic style of the Han period. It is said that this type of buckle was used to suspend a sword on the belt. artist has excellently represented the small animal harmoniously curled up on itself and ready to pounce. The details are perfectly sculpted. The jade is slightly greyish-celadon white, not "fat sheep white". Photos are correctly representative of the color...

Covered vase in nuanced ocher jade, decorated in relief with a grinding wheel with Taotie masks. Very good quality of sculpture. The stone is probably fire-patinated to imitate the color of archaic jade as was usually the case in the Ming Dynasty. It is impossible for me to date such an object. It is old, probably from the 18th century but could be earlier. Good condition, except for a few dents on the lid that can be seen on an enlarged photo. Height: 12cm.

Hard stone cup, probably Jadeite. The more or less pale nuanced ocher colored stone is stained with a pretty green and veined with rust. The cut is very thin which required good control. Uneven grinding and a soft sheen suggest that this cut is ancient, difficult to date with certainty. Chinese work from the 19th century or before. Size:85x68x15mm Good condition.

You are considering a rare and beautiful Archaic Chinese Jade Scepter or Tablet, "Gui," dating to circa 2000BC. The piece measures 7.5 inches (18.5cm) in length and is, as one would expect, carved (drilled and polished) entirely by hand. Superb hanging stand, carved in sandalwood with boxwood details. Decor of 2 dragons presenting a Chinese character, certainly that of longevity "Shou". The stand is carved with the greatest care, a perfect work of cabinetmaking with an excellent finish. In the upper part there remains a hook and a piece of chain in gilded bronze with mercury tecnical. The suspended object, now missing, must have been of exceptional quality, probably imperial. Maybe a jade? but not necessarily. A precious object...

This is a large amulet with two holes for suspension and was most probably used as a chest piece (pectoral). The polish is so spectacularly well done that the piece feels as smooth as silk when held. The large central hole gently tapers on both sides. It measures a full 4" in length and is 2-1/2" in height. Roughly 1/8" thick. In color a varied green nephrite with a minimal residue of the polishing material remaining on the surface.

This is an authentic nephrite jade huang carved, as one would expect, entirely by hand, done in a translucent pale greenish-gray jade with russet inclusions. It measures some 5-1/2" (14cm) end to end and is in excellent condition given its great age. A well-carved nephrite jade plaque depicting a coiled, sinuous dragon paired with a phoenix and spiral-incised "bi" disc. The phoenix and "bi" disc have been covered with a gold lacuer gilding.
