An authentic neolithic Chinese nephrite jade bi. The piece measures 6-1/2" in diameter. The central hole is drilled conically from one side only. A medium green nephrite with darker inclusions. There are visible marks inside the central hole showing how it was drilled. Authenticity is guaranteed. All of these jade pieces that I am listing come from a collection formed before 2000 and are not modern copies.

Ca. 1700s

This jade tube is a celadon green with lighter inclusions that create mountain landscape-like patterns throughout. It has a soft even polish overall, including the interior and it is slightly translucent when held to the light. There are a few small nicks and minor abrasions to the rims, but it is in generally good condition. The interior is cut slightly off-center.

1800s

This pendant is carved on both sides in the form of a peach hanging from a leafy stem. It is suspended from a twisted gold wire loop from a small pierced hole at the top. The semi-translucent stone is a very pale pink tone with whitish inclusions. Acquired from a Southern Pines, North Carolina estate.

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a smiling, robed man with a small child climbing onto his shoulders. The child holds onto pierced carving branches for support. The jade is of a grey-green tone with mossy green tones where various stacked objects have been carved. Size: 2.25" height, 1.25" width

18th century small Chinese agate carving in a shape of a peony flower, was used to be sawn onto clothes. Beautiful carnelian agate with wonderful finish. Height 11/16 inches (18 mm).

This is fine example of a white nephrite jade Thumb Archer's Ring, with a Taotie theme: symbols and figures carved in high relief all around the surface of the ring. It was apparently used to some extent because it shows a few very small impact scars on its edges, as well a hairline crack on its outside surface, but it is in solid condition, with well defined carved symbols . Other similar examples date to the Chinese Qing period.

Antique Chinese stone seal carved in the shape of a sage. The seal comes with a box. The seal has red pigment from when it was utilized. It measures 2.5" tall 1"5/8" wide .75" deep.

Antique reddish brown jade carving in the shape of a turtle with offspring on its back. Carved in Tang style, it dates pre-1900. Perforation at corners of larger turtle's mouth would have been used for its suspension as a toggle. Measures 2.5" x 1.5 (6.5 cm x 4 cm.)

Antique Chinese carved jadeite with hues of white and light green, with apparent areas of bright apple green. It is carved into a smooth cylindrical shape and would have been used as a thumb ring in archery. 19th century, Qing Dynasty era Size: 1" height, 1.25" width, .25" thickness

A Chinese archaic pale green jade sword chape carved on one side with four linear designs, the reverse with a coiled dragon, 5cms wide, Western Han dynasty (202BC - 9AD). A similar chape was sold at Bonhams London, 18/5/23, lot 28, Keverne collection. Another sold at Christie's New York, 17/3/16, lot 920.

You are considering a massive neolithic nephrite jade ritual (votive) axe, weighing one pound 10 ounces and measuring 6-1/4" in length by 2-1/4" in width and 1-1/4" in thickness (16cm X 6.5cm X 3cm). Predominantly green in color (celadon), there are extensive black and brown areas, indicative of a stone with a large iron content. Rough at one end, the piece tapers to a pointed edge (not especially sharp). Massive in feeling with a great presence. Guaranteed to be ancient...
