Very rare and heavy antique Sino-Thai solid silver mesh belt with magnificent repousse dragon and flower motif on the buckle. Made by an expert and famous local (Bangkok) Chinese silversmith by the name of "Pung Heng" dating to ca. 1850. Exquisite hand made workmanship and stamped/ hallmarked on the inside of the buckle. This type of elegant silver belt was worn by Thai nobility and wealthy ladies in the 19th Century. Practically impossible to find nowadays...
