This hand made 19th century Chinese sterling silver cart is 2 ¾ inches long, 1 ¼ inches wide and 2 inches high. It depicts a man with a straw hat pulling a two wheel cart. A business man is sitting on the cart. It has “LC & CO” and “Mian An, Lian Zhang” (in Chinese) stamped on the back of the cart. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.
Extremely nice Chinese silverwork artefact. A so called lock pendant. My field is porcelain and unfortunately I am not so familiar with silverwork.
