This censer is noticeable by its absolutely very well done, perfect shape of the body. By the particularly warm golden colour of the alloy, and by the additional decor ( with some calligraphy ) to the inside of the piece. The surface of the piece nearly appears like gilded. Unforunately why ever the images are not able to show this.

Sensuous and serene, this covered pewter jar is quiet, subtle, and sophisticated with it sparse plant motif which climbs up the wall onto the lid. The patina on a supple orange peel skin evokes soft tones of solitude. The underside is marked with Chinese symbols. Excellent condition in spite of tarnish.

Chinese finial hat, known in Chinese as guanmaodi, done in repousse silver topped with a lion. A lage round agate bead, known as dingzhu is placed in the center, the middle has a cylindrical bead with repousse figures, and the base has a very pale jade ring. Age: 19th-20th Century. Size: 4" high.

This hand made 19th century Chinese sterling silver cart is 2 ¾ inches long, 1 ¼ inches wide and 2 inches high. It depicts a man with a straw hat pulling a two wheel cart. A business man is sitting on the cart. It has “LC & CO” and “Mian An, Lian Zhang” (in Chinese) stamped on the back of the cart. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.
