Beautiful Chinese antique porcelain bowl, with golden rim, made during the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850). Painted along its sides are beautiful young Chinese girls performing leisurely tasks, such as painting scrolls and reading, wearing bright and colorful robes in shades of pink, blue, purple, and green, and surrounded by potted flowers. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Daoguang Nian Zhi" or "Qing Dynasty Daoguang period make".

Featuring an ovoid shaped body supported by a straight foot, tapering inwards to its shoulders onto a slightly flaring neck. Its body is carved with horizontal lines with each corner row adorned with applied horns. It is covered overall in an olive-green 'Yue' celadon glaze, except for the feet.
