A classic Longquan celadon charger of the 14th century, with a typically fluted cavetto and incised floral center, and the base with an exposed ring fired to reddish orange. Its glaze is a rich and creamy olive green, unbroken by the kind of crazing seen on later Ming Longquan wares...

This set is quite representative of the Yongzheng era. Famille rose enameling was still in its early stages during the early 18th century, spurred by the development of opaque enamels during the preceding Kangxi reign...

A large "Kangxi revival" Guangxu blue and white jar, with typical late Qing glaze, painting style, and paste; featuring eleven beauties engaged in activities of intellectual refinement.

A large circular tureen and cover painted in underglaze blue depicting peonies, willow trees and rockwork in a garden setting. This item was made in China circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor, for export to Europe. Condition - there are minor losses. Two leaves on the pomegranate finial are chipped and an ear is missing from one of the boar's head handles. There are chips to the inside of the cover and there is a light hairline to the base...

The border is richly decorated with lotus, peony flowers, birds, insects, good luck symbols and auspicious objects. This item was made in China for export during the reign of either the Jiaqing or Daoguang emperors - probably circa 1800-1830.)Condition - there is a chip and associated 0.5 cm hairline to the rim and there is minor wear to the enamels...
