Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin, seated with a boy holding a ruyi sceptre on her lap. Above a dragon among waves, with Longnu, the Jade Maiden and Shoukai, the Golden Youth to either side.

A most unusual square porcelain bowl with scalloped corners. Iy is brightly enameled with a plethora of flowers. Each corner features a bat that symbolizes fortune and good luck. Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man. The bowl measures 2 1/4" high x 6 1/4" in diameter. Condition: The condition is excellent with the added mark and some kiln flaws. Free shipping within the USA.

A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all.
