Found in the Philippines. This jar features an unglazed incised decoration of wavy patterns and lines with six vertical lug handles. A beautiful large matching pair of Ming attendants. It is unusual and rare to find a matching pair of a male and female attendants with a beautiful matching three color glaze. The expressions are very real and natural. Both original heads are removable.The heads are removable from the bodies because they are molded to look like the actual attendants that took care of the deceased. Size: Male H.46cm. Female H. 44cm. Rare Chinese Warring States Covered Pottery Stem Jar (475 - 221 BC)

This attractively-shaped pottery vessel with its flared foot and pear-shaped body was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It is "heavily-potted", made from a fine-grained grey pottery and has a smooth burnished surface. Although not immediately obvious, the outer wall of the cover has been lightly decorated with thin lightly incised or polished bands.

A Genuine SONG DYNASTY BLACK CERAMIC POT with 2 intact loops and rare vertical incision décor lines. Size: 8.5 cm diameter. This SONG DYNASTY POT was found in the Musi River, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam. Condition overall good, no cracks, chips nor restorations. Shine from Black glaze faded because of many years under water/current. Fine specimen for Collectors!
