The carved overlay glass snuff bottle is an early 20th century product. The red over clear glass snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 1 5/8” wide and 3/4” thick. Both sides have the same design which depicts a blossom tree. It has a light carnelian cap which is a later replacement. It is in great condition.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain snuff bottle featuring an elaborate hunting scene which includes animals such as wild boar, birds, deer, and a rabbit. Hunters are depicted on foot and riding horseback while shooting bows and arrows. In very good antique condition, no cracks, no hairlines. A well-carved ivory snuff bottle depicting two of the sixteen Buddhist Arhat. The bottle is undoubtedly carved in Japan as the neck is made from a separate piece of ivory and screws into the body of the bottle. The carving style suits the subject matter and the bottle has a pleasing patina from handling. There is an unidentified studio marking on the base.
