Circa 1820-1840 large table size rock crystal snuff bottle. Superbly done with the greatest skills depicting carvings of birds, foliage, and a Qilin mythical beast. The bottle rests on a fine custom rosewood stand that is also expertly produced. In the 2nd photo, it is shown next to a normal rose quartz snuff bottle so you can compare its large size. Late Qing Dynasty (1900s) Chinese porcelain snuff saucer with underglaze blue painting of an open fan and enamel decoration of yellow bamboo rib and orange tassel. Very well made, wonderful painting, beautiful patina, some rubbing to the top, in great condition. Marked in underglaze blue on the bottom. Diameter 1 3/4 inches.

A Chinese reticulated iron porcelain snuff bottle with a dragon and phoenix among clouds beneath key fret and ryui border, neck with a silver rim, jade stopper. The red color is the same as used when decorating porcelain, though in this case it is applied as a solid color. The desired effect is to imitate red cinnabar lacquer. Circa, probably from the Jiaqing period (1796 - 1820). Height 3".

The bottle is very light. This must have been the reason that the carver has left 1/4 of the bottom non hollowed to give the bottle a little weight and stability. The walls are very thin. It has a very smooth and lustrous surface...

This is an exceptional Famille Rose Enameled Porcelain Snuff Bottle of circular form, with flared neck, and raised recessed oval footing; decorated with scrolling lotus blossoms and vines, set atop a yellow background. The body of the porcelain under the glaze has incised engravings in a spiraling circular pattern that is barely visible. The underside bearing, in iron red, the Daoguang Mark (1821-50), the period when this bottle was made...

A Chinese white porcelain snuff bottle, probably Dehua, known in the West as ‘Blanc de Chine’. The moulded body, each side decorated with a central roundel of flowers surrounded with a pair of bats and a Shou character. The stopper, missing its spoon, appears to be faded purple stained soapstone. The thin body is very translucent and inside there are traces of former contents.

Approximately 5.8cm high. Perfect condition...
