Porcelanous stoneware with a molded decoration covered with an elegant pale gray glaze.
Yue Ware ( Yueyao ), Five Dynasties to Song Dynasty, tenth to eleventh centuries.
Diameter : 9,8 cm.
Condition : Perfect
It is beautifully potted in an ovid melon form with in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot. The qingpai glazing which is uneven, fall short of the short foot-rim with a recessed base.
There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, glaze crazing and minor losses as shown in all the photograps. Minor scattered oxidise spot as shown in all the photographs...
The most important first : This piece is not from Ancient Dragon House and not from Roy Hu´s Asian Art !
A very small Song Junyao bowl with slightly rounded sides and incurved rim covered with a grayish-blue glaze with an very nice splash of purplish-red to the interior of the bowl. The glaze thinning at the rim to a buff tone. The base is unglazed and is burnt reddish in the firing.

A extremely decorative large Jar. Five Dynasties ( 618 - 906 ) with five lug handles and a bold 2 dragons design. Very nice typical Five Dynasties glaze.

Condition : No chip, no crack, a small insignificant inconspicuous repair to one of the five lugs.

A green glazed "celadon" ware vase with flattened pear-shaped body made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province, circa 1450-1550, during the middle Ming dynasty. The shape is probably in imitation of ring handled bronze vessles of similar form which have been produced in China since the Yuan dynasty. There is moulded floral decoration to the body and a plantain leaf design around the neck...

The outide is of moulded lotus petal form, the base is unglazed and there is carved lotus flower decoration to the interior. Condition excellent - no damages and no restoration...
A Ming Ge Yao jarlet imitating the famous Sung Ge Yao ware. There were many hundreds of smaller Tang Dynasty Changsha bowls on the Belitung wreck, but just very very few larger pieces of the same kind.
This is one of these extremely rare larger pieces.
By its extraordinary large size despite its glaze degradations this piece appears extremely decorative.
A " must " for any Belitung - collection.
