Description:

A Houtien jade rabbit was well rendered in simple form.
In characteristics of early periods, the jade pebble was in greasy feel and was suffused with brownish incursions in portions.
Stone crackles were also resulted due to age.
An original drilling hole was in the middle of the body on the side.
It was used for hanging.
On one side beside the hole, there was a shallow drilling scar left for unknown reason...

Up for auction is an extra large antique Chinese Qing dynasty Duke's brown dragon robe embroidered with nine 5-claw dragons, clouds, buddhist auspicious symbols executed in Forbidden stitch or Peking knots, peonies & bats on beautiful hurricane seawaves; backed with light blue silk lining. Overal in very good condition and consistent with age. Height is 58" from collar to hem, width across shoulders is 91".

With an overglaze decoration of foo dogs and peonies. China, ca. 1620-1640. H. 16 cm. Condition: 1,5 cm hairline crack at the mouth, minor chips to the footrim.

An impressive quite large censer with elephant - head legs and handles and brightly enamelled with the Famille Rose colours. Underglaze blue Qianlong mark but probably 19th century. H : 35,7 cm. Condition : The body + lid in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Old retouched glaze losses at two small places.

This item was made in China for export, circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). A rare and very finely enamelled deep dish depicting two cranes, a pine tree and lingzhi fungus (all symbols for long life) and two bats (good luck). The base carries the six character iron red reign mark of the Guangxu emperor and this item was made during his reign (1875-1908).
