A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908). Chinese wood carving of Quan Yin, the compassionate female bodhisattva. With pigments of red, black, and gilt lacquer. She stands posed with her arms crossed, holding a scroll close to her chest.

The U-shaped body with broad flaring mouth supported on three tall splayed legs, cast around the body with a key-fret band and to the underside of the spout with a nine character Mark. One of the best ever seen Guandong ( South China ) Shiwan ware dishes. Seventeenth Century. Shiwan pieces like this do try to imitate the famous glazes of the Song Dynasty ( mostly the glazes of Jun or Jizhou pieces ). Diameter : 20,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

The cover decoration of this box, executed in an extremely nice cobalt blue, is well known as the central medallion of the inner decoration of some extremely rare underglaze blue Imperial Chenghua "Palace Bowls". It is a single stylished flower head, represented in a style resp. in a manner which we only do know from the Chenghua period. Ming Dynasty, Jingdezhen ware, 1465 - 1487. Diameter : 4,4 cm. H : 3,6 cm. Condition: Perfect.

Antique Chinese pair of tall hardwood stands, carved to look like they are comprised of stalks of bamboo. The tops show their natural woodgrain beautifully through the dark finish. The underside panels and connecting unit between its legs are designed like reticulated bamboo.
