Chinese Yuan - Ming dynasty celadon glaze vase or jar. 19 cm high. Jar has small chipped at the mouth rim on restoration. Similar jar found on museum describe as Yuan dynasty from Dongmen Kiln.

Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

This piece had been imported to Japan in 14th century by "Tenryu-ji ship", and so called "天龍寺青磁 Tenryu-ji celadon" in Japan. A pair of massive museum quality matching pottery figures of two male house attendants, middle Ming Dynasty, 15th.-16th. century.

The figures are matching in the Green and Yellow Sancai colors and they are plced on large plints. The figure to the left in this pair was Termo-Luminescence testet by Ralf Kotallas Laboratory and it was made during the Middle Ming period (15th.-16th. cent.).

They are both carrying scarfs. Figure to the left also an umbrella on his back...
