Strand of Yuan to Ming Dynasty white “milk” glass trade beads excavated from the Tak Hilltop burial site along the Thai Burmese border. These can be dated to the14th to 16th CE because they were found the same strata as easily datable Chinese and Vietnamese ceramics. Please examine enlargements for condition. A large Indo-Persian white metal repousse and chiselled plague showing 16 figures, trees and castles. 47x28cm. Undated, estimated to be early 20th century or earlier. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.
Cabinet in black lacquered wood. Decor of plants in gilding and mother-of-pearl inlay. The mounts are incised and gilded copper. Two doors conceal a series of drawers and a small door. Carved wooden cup representing large lotus leaves and buds on which evolve a crab and a shrimp. The feet are made up of snails. Although the carving work is of excellent quality, the wood used is not purple sandalwood. Part of the edge has been broken as shown in the photo, but this does not affect the aesthetics of the object. In addition, restoration work is possible with a perfect result.

Antique 16th - 17th century Mughal Indian cast bronze bottle-shaped wine vessel from north India. The rounded body with diagonal ribs, is sitting on a trumpet footing with incised rings; the tapering neck is decorated with stylized petal lappets design and horizontal ribs.
This type of vessel was used for rice wine that it was served during weddings and other profane or religious ceremonies.

Antique Japanese todana tansu (storage chest). Large sliding panels with wide horizontal slats open to a series of interior drawers: four drawers on the right (two large and two small) and three large drawers on the left. The front and frame of the tansu is made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood with kiri (paulownia) wood drawers. Iron hardware includes hirute shaped drawer pulls.

Antique Japanese 2-section mizuya tansu (kitchen chest) from the Mikuni area. Made with hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood framing and beautifully grained keyaki (zelkova elm) wood panels on the drawers and sliders. The frame is lacquered a rich reddish-orange while the slider frames are lacquered black. The top section has an unusual, narrow full width compartment on the very top with two sliders...
Antique Chinese porcelain plate with blue and white glaze design of a water dragon. Surrounded by clouds, the dragon holds a large pearl. The rim of the plate is decorated with waves. The back of the plate has a four character Chenhua mark 1464-1487. Old repairs.
